Social media certainly has its pitfalls. It can lead to all sorts of trolling and nastiness, and some often unwelcome behavior. But it allows us to stay in touch with friends and keep an eye on things we love. It also means we can see some unusual interactions, such as this one an X user caught at a gas station. Perhaps the last place you would expect an altercation.

X user @Chicago_Goofies (Goofies of Chicago) showcased a video that had been filmed at a gas station in Chicago. In it, we see someone pull up at a gas station, with it all looking somewhat normal at that point.

However, it quickly becomes clear that they are not looking for gasoline, but rather for an altercation with someone at the gas station itself. That leads to another person coming out, someone who worked at the gas station, to find out what on Earth was going on.

The video progressed from there, and we don’t want to give too much away in this introduction. But it is safe to say the initial scuffle quickly escalates into something a bit more interesting, and all of this was somehow captured by someone also at the gas station.

What Actually Happened at the Gas Station?

In the video, the first person arrives at the gas pump and then starts to extend the pump out as far as it will go. Then, they suddenly toss it aggressively at one of the men who appears to be a worker at the gas station. He somehow managed to swerve from the swinging pump. It was at this point that another man came outside the main building of the station.

He too appeared to be a worker at the gas station. After the throw of the gas pump, the worker who avoided it came around the actual gas pump itself. He is doing this with a Tupperware container in his hand. The person who threw the pump then tries to run in and grab it again to try and throw it at the worker a second time. However, this time, the worker is prepared for it.

He throws the container at that person’s head, and it makes quite a loud thump as it hits them. The other worker joins in, and the two walk up to the person together to try and stop whatever madness has ensued. That person then starts to walk away, deciding that it isn’t a fight that they can win. They seemingly didn’t realize the entire incident had been caught on camera.

Behind, we can hear plenty of people laughing their heads off at the situation. They couldn’t believe what they were watching play out, and we must admit, the whole ordeal looked rather confusing. What really brought a chuckle was the loud thump that the Tupperware container made as it landed on the person’s head. This particular moment also got laughs from those watching on X.

One  X user wrote, “the sound of the container hitting her head,” followed by a crying-laughing emoji. Another said, “Is the container safe?” A third person added, “She went back home real quick. That must have reconfigured her operating systems.” One comment also said, “The container did a manual reset on her brain,” followed by a laughing emoji. We have absolutely no idea what led to the confrontation. But whatever caused it, it was certainly chaotic and perhaps the most bizarre incident to take place at this gas station.
