A Florida mother’s 2022 arrest is getting another audience after a new bodycam upload drew nearly 300,000 views. The recording follows a dispute over a closed road that ended with the driver in handcuffs.
Bodycam Horizon posted its version on October 25, 2026, identifying the encounter as October 13, 2022. An earlier edit published by Crime Scene Cam dates to July 2024, so the footage was circulating well before this latest upload.
Deputies were handling a crash near Carter Road and Moccasin Wallow Road in Florida. In the recorded exchange, one explains that they had temporarily stopped traffic so tow trucks could remove the damaged vehicles and reopen the road.
The driver said she needed to reach her daughter at a bus stop. She disputed that the road was blocked, while the deputies objected to her driving into the opposing lane and continuing after an order to stop.

At the crash scene, a deputy repeatedly ordered the woman to put her car in park and hand over her driver’s license. She answered that she lived nearby, then drove away as he called for another deputy to stop her.
After catching up, the second deputy asked for her license, registration, and proof of insurance. She said her license was at home and continued explaining that she had been trying to collect her daughter. A bystander who tried to join the exchange was instructed to stay back.
Asked for her name, the driver answered, “I’m not saying that.” She then requested a lawyer, and the deputy ordered her out of the vehicle. As deputies handcuffed her, she protested that she did not need to be arrested.
More Than Directions
Afterward, the first deputy told another person the driver had come close to running over his foot. Deputies discussed reviewing the recording to determine whether to pursue an aggravated assault charge against a law enforcement officer.
The second deputy also said he had driven almost 100 mph to catch up. That was his description of his own speed, not a measured speed for the woman’s vehicle.
Crime Scene Cam’s earlier edit reports that the woman was charged with resisting, cited for disobeying a police officer, and later pleaded no contest, receiving six months of probation. Guessing Headlights could not locate the original arrest report or court disposition to independently confirm those charges and the reported sentence.
