The original Ford Bronco is already a favorite among enthusiasts who love classic off-roaders, but this particular example is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. With four doors, seating for six, and a supercharged V8 capable of producing a staggering 1,000 horsepower, it takes things to an entirely different level.
Featured on Autotopia LA, the heavily customized Bronco belongs to a man named David, who originally wanted something resembling a classic Lincoln Continental. That explains the unusual stretched body and rear-hinged suicide doors, neither of which came from the factory.
Getting everything to work required extensive fabrication and even a second donor Bronco. What started as a relatively simple idea eventually became a one-off machine with a custom chassis and an almost entirely redesigned body.
Despite its outrageous specifications, this wasn’t built exclusively for shows or drag racing. David commissioned the Bronco for his wife, and the family can actually enjoy it together.
Two Broncos Went Into Building This Monster

Creating a four-door classic Bronco was anything but simple. The project required two donor vehicles, with No Limit Engineering supplying the custom chassis and Rock Bottom eventually completing much of the build.
The finished truck features custom bumpers, flared bodywork, and rear-hinged doors inspired by the Lincoln Continental. Its China Blue paint was chosen after David’s wife spotted a Mercedes-Benz G-Class wearing a similar shade.
A Supercharged V8 With Serious Power

Under the hood sits a supercharged Ford Coyote V8 built by Nelson Racing Engines, capable of producing around 1,000 horsepower. David says the engine has been dialed back to approximately 680 horsepower at the wheels, which is still an enormous amount of power for a classic Bronco.
A heavily modified 4L80 automatic transmission handles the power, while an Atlas transfer case retains four-wheel drive. The truck also rides on 37-inch tires wrapped around 20-inch beadlock wheels, with King shocks and upgraded axles.
David estimates the finished Bronco weighs approximately 5,500 pounds, although it hasn’t been officially weighed.
A Family Cruiser With An Unexpected Wild Side

Inside, Rock Bottom created a custom tan interior with three rows of seats, air conditioning, and a modern sound system. Other details include a Nardi steering wheel, Dakota Digital instruments, and personalized embroidery.
During Autotopia LA’s road test, the Bronco delivered plenty of supercharger noise and strong acceleration. Its tall stance and off-road suspension also produced noticeable body roll, making it clear that this isn’t a conventional performance vehicle.
David still hopes to take the truck off-road, despite its immaculate finish. Considering its combination of outrageous horsepower, custom craftsmanship, and six-passenger practicality, this might be one of the most unusual classic Broncos around.
