If you’ve ever wanted to own a car driven by Tony Stark, here’s your chance. The custom Acura NSX Roadster featured in Marvel’s 2012 blockbuster The Avengers is heading to a new home, and it’s being sold without a reserve price.
The one-off creation is currently listed on Cars & Bids, with Acura itself handling the sale. Better yet, all proceeds from the winning bid will go to charity, making this an unusual opportunity for car collectors and Marvel fans alike.
Despite its futuristic appearance, this actually isn’t a second-generation NSX with its roof removed. Underneath the dramatic bodywork sits a first-generation Acura NSX from 1991, extensively modified for its Hollywood appearance.
There’s one rather important catch, though. Whoever wins the auction won’t be able to legally drive this piece of movie history on public roads.
A 1991 NSX Disguised As Tony Stark’s Supercar

The car was designed by Acura’s Advanced Design Studio in Los Angeles and built by Trans FX in California. Its styling previewed the second-generation NSX concept, giving Tony Stark a suitably futuristic ride.
The custom body is constructed from resin and fiberglass, finished in Hot Rod Red to complement Iron Man’s iconic armor. It also includes the screen-used “STARK 33” license plate, along with aftermarket sports seats and staggered 18-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels.
Underneath, the original NSX’s mechanical layout is familiar. A naturally aspirated 3.0-liter VTEC V6 sits behind the driver and produces approximately 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque, delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
This Movie Star Has Covered Serious Mileage

Surprisingly, the donor NSX wasn’t exactly a low-mileage collector’s car. Its odometer shows 252,200 miles, most of which were accumulated before the car was transformed into a movie prop.
The car also has some imperfections, including scratches, cracked paint, and fragile custom bodywork. Acura is selling it as a manufacturer prototype on a bill of sale, meaning it cannot be titled, registered, or operated on public roads.
Still, the winning bidder will receive a certificate of authenticity, a signed photograph, and other accompanying items. Its genuine screen-used history should make it an interesting addition to a private collection.
No Reserve, And The Money Goes To Charity

The auction is scheduled to end on October 31, 2026, with no reserve price. At the time of the listing snapshot, bidding had reached $80,497, although that figure could climb considerably before the auction closes.
According to Acura, 100% of the winning bid will benefit a charity agreed upon by the buyer and seller. American Honda will also reimburse the winning bidder’s standard Cars & Bids buyer’s fee after the sale.
You won’t be taking this NSX out for a Sunday drive, but owning an authentic piece of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has its own appeal. It’s not every day that Tony Stark’s garage opens its doors to the highest bidder.
