You have the right to remain silent, but these two Florida sisters apparently never got the memo, transforming what could have been a routine Key West arrest into a viral bodycam moment that has attracted hundreds of thousands of views online.
A Florida bodycam video recorded in May is finding a second life online after being featured by popular YouTube creator Josh Prime 2, where it has already racked up more than 160,000 views and thousands of comments from viewers who couldn’t believe what they were watching.
The footage was recorded during a late-night police encounter in Key West. While the arrest itself wasn’t widely known at the time, the video has been thrust into the spotlight after the channel uploaded its commentary version on May 31, 2026.
What starts as a police interaction outside a business quickly spirals into screaming, insults, arguments between sisters, claims about money, and an arrest scene that viewers are now treating like must-see bodycam chaos.
Bodycam Video Shows The Meltdown
Warning: The video contains copious swearing and may not be suitable for all viewers.
Editor’s Note: The thumbnail used by the YouTube channel does not appear to depict either of the women arrested in this incident. Guessing Headlights independently verified the arrests, identities, and charges through official Monroe County booking and court records.
According to the bodycam footage, officers were dealing with one of the sisters when the second woman repeatedly approached despite being told to stay back. Officers instructed her several times to move at least 25 feet away, which appears to be a reference to Florida’s Halo Law.
Rather than simply backing away and waiting across the street, she continued arguing with officers and questioning why she needed to move. At one point, officers warned her that she could be arrested if she failed to comply. Moments later, she was placed in handcuffs.
Rich Stepfather Claims And A Backseat Argument
Once both women were placed in the back of a patrol vehicle, the encounter somehow became even more chaotic.
One sister repeatedly demanded to know why she had been arrested while calling officers names and accusing them of wrongdoing. The other also argued with her sibling about money, rent, and who was responsible for getting them arrested.
Among the more memorable moments was a claim that her stepfather was wealthy and would somehow make life difficult for the officers involved.
“My stepdad is a rich motherf***er,” she shouted during one of several lengthy tirades.
She also claimed to have thousands of dollars available and repeatedly referenced money disputes. In one moment that commenters couldn’t stop talking about, one of the sisters talked about calling the police while already sitting in the back of a police cruiser.
Viewers Couldn’t Get Enough Of The Patrol Car Conversation
The arrest itself generated attention, but most viewers seemed far more fascinated by the bizarre conversation that unfolded after both women were secured in the patrol vehicle.
Commenters compared the scene to an SNL sketch, a comedy routine, and even a reality television show. Others joked that the officer deserved a raise simply for having to listen to the nonstop screaming and arguing.
Many viewers also focused on how the two sisters appeared to be having completely different conversations at the same time, often talking over each other without acknowledging what the other person was saying.
Others pointed to a moment where one of the women repeatedly asked if her mother was in the patrol car, despite already being in custody.
Both Women Were Arrested
Booking records identify the women as sisters Haleigh Lynn Thigpen, 25, and Chelsea Ann Thigpen, 23. Both were arrested by Key West Police on May 14, 2026.
Haleigh Thigpen was charged with three counts of resisting or obstructing an officer without violence and one count of obstructing or interfering with a first responder on duty.
Chelsea Thigpen was charged with trespassing on property other than a structure or conveyance and resisting or obstructing an officer without violence.
The charges appear to stem from the same incident captured in the viral bodycam footage, which shows officers repeatedly ordering one of the women to move away from an active police scene before ultimately placing her under arrest.
