Fans of the Ford Bronco SUV may be about to get incredibly excited, because a new, premium, outdoors version of the popular SUV is about to hit the market, thanks to a partnership between Ford and Filson. A teaser image was shared earlier in May 2026 that gave us a brief glimpse of the new car.
The new car follows on from a Super Duty collaboration between Ford and Carhartt, with the Blue Oval now taking one of its most popular products to outdoor brand Filson. A full reveal of the car is expected to take place early in June.
Since it came back on the market in 2020, the Brono has been a huge hit. It’s given Ford fans and SUV enthusiasts a chance to own a retro-inspired, rugged but smaller-scale SUV that doesn’t dwarf every car around it. The revival of a name made popular in the 1970s was a real feel-good story in what was a tricky year globally due to the pandemic.
While we currently only have one teaser image to go off, that doesn’t mean that the excitement isn’t building. In fact, we are very much looking forward to the full reveal, and the teaser does give us a few clues as to what we might be able to expect.
What We Know About the New Premium Ford Bronco

While we only have a single teaser image so far, what it does give us is a good clue as to what we can expect. The image showed the rear of the Bronco, as well as a spare tire cover, with the Bronco and Filson text on top of what looks like a metallic green. Down the side, we can see large wheel fenders and some interesting treads.
This suggests that larger tires could be in the offering with this package, potentially as big as 35 inches, or even those included with the famous Sasquatch package. Other details we know are that it will be available as a four-door model, and Ford said this new collaboration will have a ‘premium’ feel. Filson interior touches are likely to feature, although both companies are keeping quiet on the main details for now.
We do know that the Bronco is set to be revealed on June 3rd. It isn’t the first time the two companies have partnered up with the Bronco, either. In 2020, the two created the Ford Bronco x Filson Wildland Fire Rig. This very special SUV supported forest firefighting and wildlife conservation, and it was a one-off concept car. But two more were produced that were donated to rural firefighting units.
This New Bronco Will Be More Than Just a Concept

We do know that, unlike the Wildland Fire Rig, this Bronco will be a production model. After its reveal in June 2026, both companies expect it to land with customers in early 2027. Pricing is, at the time of writing, a secret. So we currently do not have any idea what it will cost. To get a rough idea, a 2026 Bronco Badlands costs $58,320, which is equipped with the 2.3-liter Ecoboost four-cylinder engine. Should you want the 2.7-liter V6, you will pay around $61,115.
Filson is a brand that aims to pull in more premium buyers, so we might see extra luxury inside the Bronco. That could put the price of this new SUV above $60,000 or perhaps higher than that, depending on how ‘all-in’ the two companies go with the package.
