According to the listing, this incredible Impala received a full restoration not too long ago. Since that restoration was completed, the owner has added just 2,000 miles to the car, ensuring that it is still incredibly low mileage despite its age.
The highlight, though, is the awards that this car has won. Remarkably, the Impaka has won 60 trophies over the years, which must make this one of the biggest award winners of the automotive world. That alone can add a significant amount ot the value of the car.
The reasons for the sale are all too familiar. The owner of the Chevy has decided that it is time for someone else to enjoy it, as their age and health are not in the best of places. So someone may soon be able to own a real gem of an American classic car.

The Impala underwent a stunning rotisserie frame-off restoration, hence its current immaculate condition. That is what has led to it winning so many awards, as has the long list of options that the car was fitted with from the factory. The seller lists in their eBay listing that the car “has been a consistent show winner with many Best in Shows. Approximately 60 trophies to go with the sale.”
Yes, you did read that right. If you do happen to be the lucky buyer of this car, you will take home all 60 of those trophies as well. The extras that come with the car are pretty impressive. It has the Continental kit, power steering, dual-radio antennas, a working clock plus an AM/FM radio. There are also wide white radials, as well as spinner hubcaps.
An Impala with this many options added would have been incredibly expensive. That makes this a rarer example of what was one of the most popular cars that Chevrolet ever produced. The color of the Impala is truly stunning. It is finished in Rio Red, with an Arctic White top, and under the hood it has a 348ci Tri-Power big-block V8 engine that produced between 250 and 350hp.

At the time of writing, the eBay listing for the Chevrolet had it at quite a high $92,000 with a best offer option available. However, a highly-specced Impala in this pristine condition is going to be quite valuable. In fact, this price has already come down from the original asking price, which is written in the listing at $107,000. As we write this, the auction has just over a day left, with it looking like the car could be relisted.
The seller stated in the listing that their health is failing them, and that age has also caught up with them. Hence the need to sell the car to a new owner. “It’s time for someone else to enjoy this old girl as much as I have,” they said in the description. Hopefully the new owner can look after this car just as well, and ensure it racks up at least another 60 awards.
