A poor tow truck driver in California has been circulating on Reddit lately after dealing with a woman who refused to get out of her vehicle while it was being towed. Well, more than anything, she didn’t want to pay the drop fee.
But from the looks of it (and according to what the tow truck driver says at the beginning of the video), the woman just got her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) done. Those surgeries pretty much start at $8,000.
The driver seemed nice enough, giving the woman plenty of chances to either get out of the vehicle or pay the fee. Unfortunately, she didn’t feel like complying and just made the situation harder than it needed to be.
It is unclear if this is a new video or if it’s just been going viral again. However, just by the woman’s behavior, it’s pretty easy to see why people want to buckle in and watch.
She Chose the Backseat Strategy

In the video, the tow truck driver makes a comment about the woman, saying, “All right, so, I got a situation with this lady. I guess she just got a BBL or whatever, and she said she ain’t going nowhere. So, she’s gonna lay in her car. That’s what she said she’s gonna do.”
Sure enough, as the driver walks around the car to get a shot of the woman, she can be seen lying in the backseat, on her stomach.
Then, the most comedic part of the video happens, with the driver asking the woman, “So, you’re not gonna get out of the car?” To which she replies with a perfectly timed door slam.
Fortunately, there is a young woman there who seems to understand that the woman in the car was just making things difficult. She was the real star of the video, being calm and collected while the other woman continued to lie in the car.
A Calm Response Ends the Standoff
The situation only escalated as more people started to surround the car. Eventually, a red-headed woman came by and tried to calm the woman in the vehicle down.
If you can’t imagine how that ended, just know that it didn’t work. Eventually, the calm younger woman took the tow truck driver to the side to pay for the $50 fee.
Interestingly, she didn’t seem to be very phased by the behavior that the other woman was displaying, which was likely why the tow truck driver was so nice to her.
He even told her that she could still park in that lot, but just needed to go into a designated visitor’s spot. She declined and said that she was going to be leaving anyway.
Reddit Had a Field Day in the Comments
People in the Reddit video’s comments were having a field day. It seems that most everyone isn’t a fan of adults who display this sort of behavior, with the top comment reading, “I hate adults like this, the little one had to: (1) apologize to the tow truck driver, (2) communicate with the other parents and kids about the situation, (3) PAY THE DROP FEE, and (4) MOVE THE CAR by herself? What the heck.”
Another commenter also thought the door slam was hilarious, writing, “So, you not gunna get out of the car?” slams door, perfect comedic timing.”
