A woman has gone viral on TikTok after a video showed her truck trailer being recovered after it had bottomed out, only for her to escalate the situation and not pay. Cue a surprised and frustrated tow truck driver who was quite shocked by the situation.
The video has gone viral on social media, amassing over 470,000 views at the time of writing. TikTok user Lyndsey Lou (@lyndseylou0) managed to film the incident and seemed to have a front-row seat, posting a few clips.
In the footage, a woman is driving a Wise Wheeler LLC semi-truck after its tractor-trailer had bottomed out in a parking lot. But this woman seemed intent on arguing and shouting at anyone nearby. She even claimed to be “bullied” by a law enforcement officer.
What appears to have happened is that her trailer had bottomed out in the car park. So a tow truck driver had to come in to move it, and that should have been the worst part of his day. He probably didn’t expect to end up in such a heated argument.
The Confrontation Transfixed TikTok Viewers

The woman in question seemed content with trying to argue with anybody and everyone who got in her way. A law enforcement officer turned up and told the driver of the semi-truck that she must pay the towing fee and carry on down the road, which was becoming a hazard for other people to navigate at this point.
One of Lyndsey’s videos was captioned “Karen tried to get away without paying the tow truck driver who had to pull her out.” The police officer clearly had endured enough of whatever she had been saying at the time. “I’m tired of listening to you running your mouth with everybody,” he can be heard saying. “If you would shut up and listen to me, you’d know what’s going on,” he also says, with it clear the semi-truck driver wasn’t letting anyone get a word in.
“You are solely the one at fault for this,” the officer says, pointing to where her trailer was after being recovered. “No, I’m not,” the truck driver says in reply, which seems odd, as she was the one behind the wheel when the truck became stuck. “Here’s the report number, make sure your truck’s drivable, and get out of here,” the frustrated police officer can be heard saying. Another TikTok from Lyndsey shows the trailer beached, captioned “Wise Wheeler wasn’t very Wise today.”
This Was Not What the Tow Truck Driver Expected

Another video shows the semi-truck driver confronting the driver and his co-worker who had come to help her in their tow truck. For some odd reason, she started filming them, with Lyndsey’s caption stating it came after they asked for payment. Unless you are covered under insurance, you are going to have to pay some sort of fee after your vehicle has been recovered. People don’t work for free.
Watching all of the clips makes the situation seem even more bizarre. Naturally, other TikTok users wanted to know what had happened. “Soooo… did she pay, did they impound her truck?” one asked. “There are no free tow trucks,” another said. Others in the comments said that tow-truck drivers will not typically release a vehicle until the bill has been paid. If it isn’t paid, they could take the vehicle to a storage and impound yard, where it would incur additional fees, making it even more expensive. Something this woman may have had to deal with.
