Someone Built a Truck That Floats, and the Internet Immediately Wanted One

If there’s one thing I love, it’s funny-looking things. I love the idea of someone thinking of an idea so outrageous and then actually putting in motion for the whole world to see.

This time, I found a trucking rig that was turned into what looks like a boat designed specifically for lounging. The video doesn’t go into any detail about the specifics of the boat, but it’s definitely a sight to behold.

Even the person who posted the video thought so, writing a caption over the clip that reads, “Think I found my next purchase.” When the cameraman goes over the whole boat, you can see a propeller attached to the end, implying that it is also meant to go out, not just be tied to the pier.

Judging by the way it looks, it’s definitely well-loved and probably is the centerpiece of hangouts for whoever owns it. Now to find out where it is exactly so I can take a look for myself!

Honestly, the Interior Might Be the Coolest Part

The video just shows the length of the boat, but it does take a moment to peer into the truck cabin to show off a steering wheel and dashboard that likely belonged to the truck originally. Behind those seats is an open area that then leads to a sort of conversation pit area with seating all around.

The burgundy and silver truck cabin looks as though it is sitting on a flat area and acts more like a shell for the driver than anything. I almost wonder if the lights at the top or the horn work the same way.

Here, there are a ton of towels strewn over the seats, as though several people had recently been there. It doesn’t seem as though the owner was anywhere nearby since he doesn’t appear in the video or any follow-up video about the boat.

Apparently, ‘Whatever Floats Your Boat’ Was a Challenge

Unsurprisingly, people in the comments section absolutely loved the bizarre creation. While some viewers questioned why anyone would want a truck that doubles as a boat, plenty of others were already trying to figure out how they could get one for themselves.

One commenter joked, “They took ‘whatever floats your boat’ too seriously,” a line that quickly became one of the most-liked responses on the video. Another user referenced a popular internet saying, writing, “If I win the lottery, I’m not going to tell people, but there will be signs.”

Honestly, that’s probably the biggest compliment you can give a vehicle like this. Is it practical? Probably not. Does it make a lot of sense? Also probably not. But if you suddenly found one parked in your driveway tomorrow morning, you probably wouldn’t be complaining.
