“People are Crazy”: Driver Ignores Orange Traffic Cones (And the Parking Attendant Climbing On Their Car)

Driver Really Thought Orange Cones Were Just Friendly Suggestions

I truly don’t understand road rage. How could anyone be comfortable sitting in a death machine while engaging in aggressive behaviors with someone in their own death machine on wheels?

However, I have to admit: I do love watching other people do things that I never would. One person posted a video to TikTok that shows a driver basically running over a parking attendant.

There’s a lot more context to it, but in reality, there isn’t any reason in the world that would make it okay to hit anyone with your car. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem as though anyone was injured as a result of the incident.

What I’m more curious about is where the car ended up going after hitting the attendant. According to the video, the street ahead was closed.

Orange Cones Apparently Weren’t Convincing Enough

According to the video above, a silver hatchback was driving along a road that was clearly blocked, with four people standing around three orange cones that were clearly in the way of the street.

However, instead of paying attention to what one of the attendants was saying, the driver of the hatchback decided to floor it, taking the man with him. The actual impact happened before the camera started rolling, but you can see the man climb onto the car to try and be in the best position to fall off of it uninjured.

After hitting the floor, the hatchback just drove off as though nothing had happened. According to the caption, “Poor guy just trying to do his job and people are crazy (he was ok and had no injuries).”

Viewers Couldn’t Believe What the Driver Did

The comment section quickly filled with people debating who was actually at fault, though the majority came to the defense of the parking attendant. One of the most-liked comments criticized those blaming the worker, saying, “People blaming the parking attendant are absolutely in the wrong.”

Many viewers were more interested in the details surrounding the confrontation. Some questioned why the parking attendant climbed onto the vehicle, while others wondered whether the incident had been reported to police or why the road had been closed in the first place.

Of course, the internet couldn’t resist adding a little humor. One commenter joked, “Who jumps on a car other than Jason Bourne?” while another couldn’t help but point out that the vehicle involved was a Subaru, suggesting that somehow explained everything.
