There are plenty of bad places to steal a motorcycle from, but doing so while its owner is attending a funeral feels particularly difficult to defend. According to the Omaha Police Officers Association, 37-year-old Corey Graham is accused of doing exactly that before his weekend ended with a Raising Cane’s Box Combo, a fight with police, and a Taser to the buttocks.
The association shared details of Graham’s arrest in a characteristically blunt social media post that opened by addressing him directly. “Corey. Buddy,” the organization wrote before pointing out the unfortunate location where officers ultimately used a Taser on him.
According to the association, Graham first came into possession of a motorcycle that had been stolen while its owner was attending a funeral. The available jail record lists Graham’s accusation as theft by receiving stolen property valued between $1,500 and $4,999 rather than charging him with stealing the motorcycle himself.
At some point before his arrest, Graham apparently had time to stop at Raising Cane’s and eat a Box Combo. Things became considerably less relaxing afterward, with the association saying Graham fought officers before being tased in the buttocks in the restaurant’s parking lot.

Graham was ultimately taken into custody, with jail records showing he was admitted at approximately 3:48 p.m. on September 12. His listed charges include resisting arrest and theft by receiving stolen property valued between $1,500 and $4,999.
The jail record lists Graham’s bond at $25,000 or 10% plus pretrial release conditions. No projected release date is included in the information provided, and the record does not indicate that Graham was being held on an additional hold.
The Omaha Police Officers Association also said this wasn’t Graham’s first encounter with the criminal justice system. According to the association, his criminal history includes previous convictions for robbery, narcotics distribution and weapons offenses in both state and federal court.
Omaha Deputies Recently Had Another Interesting Motorcycle Stop
Motorcycles have already produced at least one other unusual Omaha police encounter we’ve covered recently, although that rider’s problems began with something considerably less dramatic than a motorcycle connected to a funeral. Earlier this month, a Nebraska motorcycle stop began when deputies spotted a rider without a helmet or proper eye protection.
That relatively ordinary violation became more interesting once deputies began checking the rider’s information. They discovered his driving privileges had been revoked for 15 years, turning a missing-eye-protection stop into something considerably more serious.
Graham’s encounter took a very different route, with the motorcycle already at the center of the accusation before Raising Cane’s entered the picture. Between a stolen motorcycle connected to a funeral, a Box Combo, and a Taser deployment in the parking lot, Omaha’s latest motorcycle-related arrest certainly managed to pack considerably more into the afternoon.
