Mustang and Tesla Driver Face Off In Wild Road Rage Incident Captured on Dashcam

A classic example of road rage has emerged, with dashcam footage showing a Ford Mustang pony car causing a Tesla EV driver to be very upset. What started mildly escalated into something more dramatic, with the dashcam car then getting caught up in the incident.

The footage was posted on the r/dashcams subreddit on Reddit, and at the time of writing, it has over 300 upvotes. The poster said they were driving on 140th Ave NE in Woodinville, WA, on October 31st 2026. They were driving along as normal, with a Ford Mustang behind.

The Mustang driver then got upset at a Tesla that approached from an intersection across the street. At that point, the muscle car driver started honking at the Tesla while also yelling and flipping the driver off. The Tesla appeared to pull out before the Mustang had passed, causing the angry reaction from the Ford’s driver.

Yet what happened next seemed to take it to another level. The Tesla driver gets even angrier, pulls off a very aggressive pass on the Mustang, and then nearly crashes into the dashcam car as well. If the first reaction by the Mustang was a bit too much, the second one by the Tesla certainly was.

Why Was the Mustang Driver Upset With the Tesla?

A Reddit poster explained what happened in the video. “Mustang following me gets upset by Tesla approaching intersection from cross street. Mustang driver starts honking, yelling, and flipping off the Tesla driver who pulled out behind him,” they said. It looks like the Tesla had simply pulled out into the intersection before the Mustang had cleared it, causing the driver to weave slightly.

But it didn’t look too serious. The Mustang driver, however, was clearly upset as he honked and yelled at the Tesla. Yet the footage rolls on, and it all looks quite calm, until the Tesla suddenly decided to step on the throttle and drive past the driver of the muscle car, but it did so via an undercut and in a very, very aggressive manner.

“Oh yeah, here we go, road rage,” the driver of the dashcam car can be heard saying.

Suddenly, the Tesla comes incredibly close to the dashcam car, shooting across the front of it and nearly crashing into it. The EV driver did so in a very tight spot, nearly clipping another car in the left-hand lane. That seemed like a huge overreaction to the earlier incident, and it nearly saw the Tesla crash into two cars that had nothing to do with the initial road rage.

What Did Reddit Users Say About the Road Rage?

Plenty of comments appeared under the footage as Reddit users weighed in. “Not all Tesla drivers, but always a Tesla driver,” said the top comment at the time of writing. “Almost had one back into the side of me this AM – I have never seen a vehicle reverse out of a parking space so rapidly as I was driving leaving Publix. I had to lay into my horn to get the driver to stop,” added another.

“The pitbulls of the road,” replied one user to the above comment. “Good on you for posting the license plate,” said another, as the original poster had uploaded the license plate of the Tesla. While the Mustang initiated the road rage, the Tesla driver took it to a whole new level, and even the Mustang driver didn’t go chasing the Tesla after it aggressively overtook them.
