An Arkansas State Police Trooper recently encountered an unusual car chase. A light green Lexus tried to get away, driving around 105 mph on only three tires during a chase near Blytheville, Arkansas.
A deputy said the driver crossed into oncoming traffic at more than 100 mph. Dash-camera video shows Arkansas State Police Trooper Tanner Seal catching up to the Lexus on U.S. Highway 61 near County Road 458, traveling on the shoulder.
The Lexus eventually slowed to about 40 mph, but the driver did not stop. Seal used a tactical vehicle intervention, or TVI, to end the chase and catch the driver.
The driver, identified as Tekeisha Nicole Waters, 44, of Osceola, was booked Aug. 17 by the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office. She now faces 11 charges, including felony fleeing in a vehicle.
The Lexus Reached 105 MPH in a 45 MPH Zone

Before Seal caught up, police said the Lexus reached 105 mph on Division Street. The speed limit in that area is 45 mph.
A deputy later reported that the driver went more than 100 mph while traveling into oncoming traffic. The Lexus was already down to three tires at the time.
The TVI Happened at About 40 Mph
NEA Report said Seal caught the Lexus near County Road 458, and by then the car had slowed to approximately 40 mph and was traveling on the shoulder.
The dash-camera video shows the patrol car make contact with the Lexus. It spins around and stops, ending the chase.
The Booking Record Lists 11 Charges
The Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office lists felony fleeing in a vehicle among the charges. The other charges include defective tires, careless and prohibited driving, driving left of center, and failing to stop at a red light.
The record also lists improper lane usage, improper turn signal, defective tail light, failure to yield and failure to obey a stop sign.
