Getting into an accident while going about your day is never ideal. It’s even more annoying when the driver who hit you refuses to acknowledge their mistake and pull over.

Fortunately, for this TikTok user, she didn’t back down when the woman who hit her didn’t stop to check in on the damage. Instead, she drove up a few cars and made contact with a police officer, telling them about everything that had just happened.

If you thought that the driver would stop for the police officer, think again. The officer ended up having to go on a little chase of their own until the suspect finally pulled over.

What makes things even funnier is that the victim followed along the whole way. It really does seem as though they were in a movie more than just driving along the street.

The Victim Decided She Wasn’t About To Let This One Go

@parisnicole_ The gas lighting this lady did was out of this world “I don’t wanna fight, if I hit you I didn’t know”. Nah u didn’t expect me to chase that ass! She drove all the way home. Didn’t even stop for the police. Smh #atl #GodDontPlayAboutMe #Fyp #HitAndRun #DontPlayWithMe ♬ original sound – Paris Nicole

In the video above, you can see that the camera is pointed at a woman driving a car and looking straight ahead at the traffic in front of her. According to the person who posted the video, this woman’s vehicle hit hers, and she was refusing to stop and check the damage.

For a moment, she puts the phone down on her lap, making it difficult to see what is going on. However, it becomes clear the moment she says, “Excuse me.”

She had found a police officer who was in traffic about two cars ahead and informed them of the incident that had happened behind him. It’s a good thing that the officer listened, because it was clear that the other driver wasn’t going to.

Stopping for the Person You Hit Is One Thing, Ignoring a Cop Is Another

After talking with the police to identify exactly which vehicle was involved, the camera cuts to another interesting scene. It seems that the driver didn’t even want to stop for the authorities.

You can see that the woman who posted the video followed the officer while its emergency lights were off, finally stopping at what looks to be some kind of parking lot. Hopefully, they didn’t drive for too long before catching up to the suspect.

In the video’s caption, it reads, “The gas lighting this lady did was out of this world “I don’t wanna fight, if I hit you I didn’t know”. Nah u didn’t expect me to chase that ass! She drove all the way home. Didn’t even stop for the police. Smh.”

Commenters Were Mostly Just Glad the Driver Was Okay

Many commenters in the replies to the TikTok video expressed their opinions on what they had just seen, with many just happy that she was okay. Many comments read something along the lines of, “Oh I’m so glad you were able to get the police in time!! And thankful you’re ok!🙌🏾🙌🏾,” and “Glad you were able to get the police right there.”

A variety of other comments were of memes and reactions that best encapsulated how that specific commenter felt about the video. Honestly, for a video that’s only 43 seconds long, there is a whole lot that goes on.

The video does not reveal any information about who the other driver was or what her charges were. After checking news stations and police reports, the information remains unreleased.
