Two wanted felons were taken into custody after a traffic stop turned into a high-speed pursuit through Bibb County, Georgia, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say the chase only came to an end after the Georgia State Patrol used a PIT maneuver to stop the fleeing vehicle.
According to the incident report, a Honda Accord sped away after passing a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office H.E.A.T. Unit deputy on Forest Hill Road. Investigators say the driver, who was operating the vehicle with a suspended license, expired registration, and no insurance, reached excessive speeds, drove into oncoming traffic, and ran multiple stop signs and red lights before troopers ended the pursuit.
After taking the driver and passenger, both identified as wanted felons, into custody, deputies searched the vehicle and allegedly found illegal narcotics inside. No additional details about the suspects or the specific drugs recovered were immediately released.

The short clip is taken from the perspective of the officer’s dash camera as he follows the suspect along what appears to be a residential road. The footage shows the Honda traveling at high speed while weaving through traffic and crossing into different lanes.
At one point, the suspect appears to drive into oncoming traffic, seemingly in an attempt to evade pursuing deputies. The pursuit continued until additional law enforcement units joined in behind the fleeing vehicle.
The chase ultimately ended when a Georgia State Patrol trooper successfully executed a PIT maneuver, sending the Honda to the side of the road. Within moments, multiple patrol vehicles surrounded the car, and the suspects were taken into custody.
