Rideshare drivers and passengers can sometimes get into heated arguments to the point where the police may have had to intervene. However, an incident from Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley took a far worse turn.
Things got so bad that an Uber driver got furious with two women who had just boarded his vehicle, demanding that they cancel the ride.
That led to an argument to the point where the driver threw hot coffee at one of them, leaving both women shocked.
One of the women was allegedly hospitalized after suffering severe burns. The incident highlights how tempers can flare in an instant in our daily interactions, with issues escalating to physical abuse in no time.
Driver Asks Both Girls to Get Out

According to the video going viral on social media, and based on the information provided in the Instagram post, the dispute began after the driver asked the two passengers to cancel the ride.
While specific details about what unfolded before the driver began using abusive language are not available, he can be seen asking both women to “get out” of his car, even going so far as to call one of them a “f**king b*tch.”
From the audio, one woman can be heard asking to cancel the trip at the same time, but the driver’s next statement escalated things to a whole new level. He warned, saying:
“I am telling you one more time, otherwise I’m going to throw coffee on you.”
Both women appeared shocked by what the driver had just said, but the one who booked the ride was firm that she was not canceling it. She said:
“We just asked you to cancel the trip. I said I’m not cancelling the trip because I’ve been stung before. Was it that hard?”
As the argument raged, the blonde woman filming asked the driver why he would accept the ride in the first place.
From that point, the situation escalated to the point where the driver poured hot coffee on one of the women.
That angered both women, with the blonde shouting furiously, “You just f**king threw coffee at her!”
Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the driver began to apologize instantly:
“OK, OK, OK!
“OK, OK, I am sorry! I am sorry, I am sorry, I am sorry!”
The screaming went on, and the video ended at that point.
