DJ Construction & Dirt Work, which now occupies a building that used to be a bar called Stubby’s, shared video of the crash on Facebook along with a business update that managed to be both informative and genuinely funny. The footage shows the truck flying down the road before veering off course, snapping through the fence line, and driving directly into the structure. It’s the kind of clip that makes you wince and chuckle at the same time, which is exactly the tone the company struck in its own post.
Rather than just posting a somber statement about property damage, DJ Construction leaned into the absurdity of the situation. Their post included a not-so-subtle PSA reminding everyone that even though the building used to be a bar, they don’t serve drinks anymore, and they most certainly do not have a drive-thru. It’s the kind of dry humor that makes a bad situation a little easier to swallow, and honestly, we respect the restraint it must have taken not to make more jokes.
The business says they’ll remain open at limited capacity while the damaged section gets sectioned off for repairs, and they’re asking customers to use the side entrances in the meantime.
