A viral video has been making the rounds on social media, showing a group of golfers hitting balls into traffic, streets, and other populated areas of LA. The men in the video have come under fire, with many calling for their arrest and others pointing out just how dangerous the activity can be.
The footage, shot and released by the Instagram handle @everywhereweplaygolf, has amassed thousands of views. Viewers are shocked by the reckless actions of the golfers in the video, and a Reddit post has sought to find and report them to local law enforcement.
With little regard for personal property or even human well-being, it seems, the golfers can be seen driving balls through the streets of LA. Typically, they play at night. However, the urban golf courses they are driving golf balls through are still populated. There is a significant chance that someone could be within the range of their play.
It isn’t only traffic and streets that the rogue golfers use for their urban sport; they are also firing balls into residential areas and businesses. In numerous videos, people can be seen in the driving line. The blatant disregard for people’s safety and property has left many shocked.

The group of men has decided to use the city at night as their new golfing ground, not playing for sport or competition, but simply for the danger. However, it isn’t the golfers themselves in danger; it’s the unsuspecting people around them who could be seriously hurt.
As numerous people have pointed out, being hit by a high-speed golf ball can be fatal, and if not, then at least cause serious bodily harm. All it would take was one stray ball to the side of someone’s head for their nighttime golfing antics to turn into a manslaughter charge.
People’s personal property is at stake, too. With numerous examples of their city street golfing activities, there is no doubt that a few windows have been broken by the flying golf balls.
Hardly Hiding
The men in the videos, despite possibly causing harm to others and undoubtedly damaging cars, buildings, and streets, have done little to hide their identities. In fact, in their numerous online posts, they boast that they can’t be stopped. They each appear repeatedly, wearing no face coverings and looking right into the camera.
However, now that their videos have gone viral, many people are starting to search for the people responsible. They hope to stop them before someone gets seriously hurt in LA. They’ve hardly made the smartest decision: filming themselves, unmasked, committing crimes in the middle of populated cities, and it won’t be too long before they’re identified and reported.
However, for now, if you’re walking the streets of LA at night, it might be a good idea to wear a helmet until they’re stopped.
