This 37,000-Mile 1976 Chevy K10 Has Had Just One Owner, And Now It’s For Sale

Finding a classic American pickup that hasn’t been heavily modified, restored, or driven into the ground is becoming increasingly difficult. Fortunately, this 1976 Chevrolet K10 Scottsdale appears to have escaped all three fates.

Finished in a beautiful combination of Hawaiian Blue and beige, this square-body Chevy looks like it could have rolled straight out of a dealership in the 1970s. Its old-school charm is backed up by an equally impressive ownership history.

According to its Bring a Trailer listing, the truck has belonged to the same owner since it was purchased new in Colorado nearly 50 years ago. Its odometer currently displays just 37,000 miles, although the listing doesn’t independently verify the total mileage.

Now being offered on behalf of the owner’s estate, the K10 is looking for its second caretaker. Anyone interested in preserving a remarkably original piece of Chevrolet truck history has an opportunity to do exactly that.

The truck’s two-tone paintwork is complemented by chrome bumpers, 15-inch steel wheels, and a matching toolbox mounted in its Fleetside bed. There’s no oversized lift kit or flashy aftermarket bodywork to distract from the original design.

Inside, the cabin is equally simple, featuring a blue cloth bench seat, simulated woodgrain trim, and a traditional AM radio, serving as a reminder of an era when pickup interiors prioritized simplicity over giant touchscreens.

V8 Power And A Proper Four-Speed Manual

Under the hood sits Chevrolet’s familiar 350-cubic-inch (5.7-liter) V8, paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Power is delivered through a dual-range transfer case, giving the K10 genuine four-wheel-drive capability.

Manually locking front hubs, power steering, front disc brakes, and rear drum brakes complete the mechanical package. The truck also features dual fuel tanks and a receiver hitch, reflecting its original purpose as a practical working vehicle.

A Rare Survivor Looking For Its Next Owner

The truck comes with service records, spare parts, and a clean Colorado title in the original owner’s name. Detailed photographs also document its condition, including visible imperfections accumulated over the decades.

At the time of writing, bidding had reached $12,000, with the auction scheduled to end on October 21, 2026. The final selling price will depend on how much someone is willing to pay for its originality and ownership history.

After spending almost half a century with one owner, this Chevy deserves someone who appreciates its unmodified character. Hopefully, its next owner will resist the temptation to turn it into another lifted, big-wheeled, LS-powered restomod.
