With just 2,200 miles recorded since new, the rare Mustang represents one of the most original examples of Ford’s track-focused special edition. The car is number 269 of only 300 Cobra R models produced for the 2000 model year, making it one of the rarest modern Mustangs ever built.

According to the listing, the car was originally delivered through Fritts Ford in Riverside, California. Its first owner was reportedly former NASCAR driver Richard Mitchell, who retained the car for more than two decades and accumulated the majority of its mileage.
