Buying a brand-new Rolls-Royce is an expensive proposition, but selling one shortly afterward can be even more painful. A 2025 Rolls-Royce Spectre recently changed hands for $360,000, despite carrying an original sticker price of $468,375.

The all-electric luxury coupe was sold through Bring a Trailer on October 26, 2026. With just 1,800 miles on the odometer, it had barely been driven before its owner decided to part ways with it.

The difference between its original MSRP and auction result is a staggering $108,375, or approximately 23 percent of its original sticker price. It should also be noted that the figure doesn’t account for taxes, registration, auction fees, or other ownership expenses.

For the winning bidder, however, the result represents a very decent discount on a nearly new example of Rolls-Royce’s first production electric vehicle. As an added bonus, the car also has an extensive list of optional equipment.

This particular Spectre was originally delivered through Rolls-Royce Rancho Mirage in California. It features Black Diamond exterior paint paired with a striking Phoenix Red and black leather interior.

According to the auction listing, the original buyer specified over $45,000 in optional equipment. Highlights include 23-inch seven-spoke wheels, an illuminated grille, and power-assisted coach doors.

Inside, the car features a black Shooting Star headliner, illuminated Starlight door panels, Piano Black trim, and lambswool floor mats. Heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats add to the luxurious cabin, alongside quad-zone climate control.

The listing also includes the original window sticker, factory literature, and a clean Carfax report. A service was completed in September 2026, shortly before the auction.

Nearly 600 Horsepower And All-Wheel Drive

The Spectre uses two electric motors, one at each axle, delivering a combined 584 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque. Its all-wheel-drive powertrain draws electricity from a 120-kWh battery pack.

Despite its hefty size and weight, the electric coupe can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. Adaptive air suspension and rear-wheel steering help deliver the smooth driving experience expected from a Rolls-Royce.

The Spectre also features regenerative braking, a surround-view camera system, and an extensive selection of driver assistance technology.

A Six-Figure Difference After Just 1,800 Miles

The final $360,000 sale price represents a $108,375 reduction from the car’s original MSRP. Spread across its 1,800 recorded miles, that’s roughly $60 in depreciation per mile.

Of course, that calculation doesn’t mean the owner necessarily lost exactly that amount. The original purchase price and any additional transaction expenses have not been independently confirmed.

EVs are infamous for losing value, but this Rolls-Royce Spectre’s $100,000 drop from its original sticker price must make it one of the greatest “bargains” of the luxury car world.
