I’ve always found most road rage situations to be way too intense for my liking. At the end of the day, you don’t know who the other person is or what they’re capable of, while also recognizing that they have a death machine on wheels they can plow you down with.
A man in San Francisco was recently filmed having a pretty big road rage meltdown that resulted in him throwing things at the victim driving an SUV. When things started to get really heated, the victim started to drive away in an attempt to get to safety.
It seems that the road rager had a completely different plan in mind, and he held onto the SUV as it drove about half a block away. Honestly, this was probably incredibly scary for the driver, who stopped for a moment before driving even further away.
You can quite literally see bystanders looking at one another in complete disbelief that they were able to witness the entire thing. It even looked as though some of them were on the phone with police while the situation was unfolding.

At the start of the video provided by KRON 4 News, you can see a man yelling at someone who appears to be in the driver’s seat of a black SUV. It’s unclear what exactly started the incident, but judging by the area, it looks like it might have been about a parking space.
There is a point where the aggressive man can be seen ripping off the driver’s side mirror of the SUV, using it as a projectile to throw at the windshield.
Unfortunately, things didn’t end there as the SUV had to make a three-point turn, giving the road rage enough time to climb onto the passenger side of the vehicle. The clip cuts out for a moment, but you can then see the road rager quite literally hanging onto the side of the car via the passenger-side window.
The Driver Tried Everything Short of an Eject Button
The driver appears to stop, likely in an attempt to force the suspect off the car, but he holds on really well. In an attempt to try again, you can see the driver back up and accelerate quickly, though this fails again to get rid of the suspect.
At this point, the driver tries one last move and turns the corner and drives away, again with the suspect hanging by the window. When the camera looks around the corner and down the street, the SUV doesn’t appear to be anywhere in sight.
It’s unclear what happened to either of the drivers in the incident. Though the road rager’s car can be seen at the beginning of the video as being parked in the street with the driver’s side door open.
The Internet Had Plenty of Jokes About the Human Side Mirror
Commenters from all over jumped into the replies of the TikTok video, with many poking fun at the whole situation. One of the very top comments reads, “The all-new 2026 redesigned hybrid RAV4, built for all environments.”
Others were more focused on the situation at hand and how road rage can quickly turn dangerous, writing, “the ability to regulate one’s emotions is so important.” Similarly, another user wrote, “Like… is it really that serious?”
Judging by the video footage, it doesn’t appear as though anyone was injured as a result of the suspect’s reckless behavior. After searching the news for a police report regarding the incident, none was found, and so, the suspect’s name has not been revealed.
