Lynk & Co launched a new version of its flagship Lynk & Co 900 in China, and the headline figure sounds almost unbelievable.
The five-seat SUV claims up to 1,363 km (847 miles) of total range.
Even more surprising? It starts at just $37,300.
That combination of luxury features, huge range, and relatively aggressive pricing shows just how quickly Chinese automakers are pushing deeper into premium territory.
It’s Built For Families Who Need More Space

This new version joins the existing six-seat Lynk & Co 900, but shifts focus toward practicality, as the biggest change is a larger cargo area.
The SUV offers:
- 1,030 liters of standard cargo space
- Expands to 1,215 liters
- Includes an additional 80-liter hidden storage compartment
Chinese outlets also report cargo depth measuring roughly 1,350 mm, making it perfectly suited for family road trips and larger luggage loads.
Second-row space has also been improved, and one unique feature remains: a seat that folds nearly flat to create a dedicated child rest area.
The Cabin Is Packed With Screens

Like many new Chinese flagship vehicles, the interior leans heavily into tech.
It includes:
- 30-inch 6K center display
- 30-inch rear entertainment screen
- 95-inch augmented reality head-up display
- Dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chips
- Flyme Auto 2 infotainment system
That’s an absurd amount of screen real estate for a vehicle that starts below $40,000.
Up To 872 Horsepower

Buyers can choose between 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter hybrid powertrains.
The range-topping 2.0-liter version produces:
- 872 horsepower
- 1,038 Nm of torque
- 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds
- Top speed of 149 mph
That’s serious performance for a family-focused SUV.
The Range Figure Is The Real Headliner
The Lynk & Co 900 uses CATL’s hybrid battery pack with a capacity of 52.38 kWh.
The company claims:
- Up to 174 miles of pure EV range
- Up to 847 miles of total combined range
- Fast charging from 20% to 80% reportedly takes just 17 minutes.
As always, it’s worth noting that these figures are based on China’s optimistic CLTC testing cycle, so real-world numbers would likely be lower.
Loaded With Driver Assistance Tech
The SUV also comes equipped with 29 driver-assistance sensors, including:
- 126-line LiDAR
- Five radar units
- 11 cameras
- 12 ultrasonic sensors
Higher trims use Nvidia’s Drive AGX Thor chip for advanced highway and city-assisted driving features.
China’s SUV Arms Race Keeps Escalating
Between ultra-fast charging EVs, 1,000-horsepower family SUVs, and increasingly aggressive pricing, Chinese automakers are moving at a pace legacy brands are struggling to match.
The new Lynk & Co 900 is another reminder that what sounds impossible today often becomes normal surprisingly fast.
