It’s annoying waking up in the middle of the night because someone decided to drive their incredibly loud car through your typically quiet neighborhood. It’s even worse when you’re pregnant and having it happen to you multiple times.
A video that was posted to TikTok features the front yard of a home with the homeowner standing outside, watching as various truck drivers drive by. According to the caption itself, the drivers were a bunch of “scared kids” who were “doing burnouts.”
However, the drivers definitely got the karma they deserved the next time they decided to do the same thing. This time, a police officer was hiding in the nearby woods to catch the obnoxious trucks as they drove by the home.
This just goes to show that most people don’t really care about what your car does or looks like unless you are using it disrespectfully around other people. I know they’ll think twice the next time they decide to do the same.
The Homeowner Finally Had Enough

According to the footage above, the trucks that can be seen have been bothering these homeowners for quite some time. Unfortunately, it seems that these particular incidents only happen at night.

The second part of the incident features a different video, but with a twist. This time, as the truck drivers were driving by in the middle of the night in front of the home that they had just disturbed, a police officer waited in a nearby embankment of trees.
You read that correctly; it happened on the very same night. In fact, it was only a little over an hour later.
The drivers clearly aren’t respecting the homes in the vicinity, as you can hear them loudly rev their engines as they pass. However, just as they officially pass the woods, the officer comes driving out.
You can hear the homeowner yell after the officer, “That’s them!” The caption even reads, “Part 2! The sheriff was hiding in the woods this time 😂😂😂.”
Commenters Couldn’t Agree on Who Was in the Wrong
The video’s comment section quickly turned into a debate between people who thought the homeowner was justified and those who believed he was making too big a deal out of a loud truck. Some mocked the situation with comments like, “Congrats dude, look at you saving the world,” while another sarcastically asked, “What are you gonna do… Go back inside.”
Others, however, pointed out that the context mattered. After learning the creator’s wife was eight months pregnant and the same truck had allegedly been driving by late at night for nearly two years, many viewers changed their tune. One commenter wrote, “If you were heavily pregnant at midnight, I’m sure you wouldn’t wanna hear this anyway,” while another added, “People have no respect for others’ sleeping schedules.”
Hopefully, this is the last time these drivers do something like this. Additional information about who the drivers were or if they were apprehended by police was not revealed in this video.
