Travelers who want a child-free flight got a chance to book one this week. A special getaway from JetBlue Vacations and Virgin Voyages pairs adults-only air travel with a cruise, and the package is already sold out.
Called Do Not Disturb, the offer went on sale Oct. 21 with just 60 cabins available. The $2,750 price covers two people, including taxes, fees, and gratuities.
Guests must be at least 18. The package includes round-trip charter flights between New York’s JFK airport and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with an outbound flight on March 4, 2027, and a return on March 8.
Between those flights, passengers take a four-night cruise aboard Brilliant Lady. The ship sails from Miami March 4–8, 2027, with stops at Key West and Virgin Voyages’ Beach Club at Bimini.
Room for Adults
Interest in separating adults and children on planes predates this launch. A February 2024 YouGov report found that 9% of surveyed travelers said they’d pay for an adults-only zone as a flight upgrade.
The findings came from online surveys conducted in December 2023 across 17 markets. Seat choice drew interest from 37%, while 28% favored extra legroom.
“We love creating vacations for all kinds of travelers, including families, but we also know there are moments when adults are looking for a different kind of getaway,” said Jamie Perry, president of Paisly, which powers JetBlue Vacations.
Before Boarding
At JFK, access to JetBlue’s BlueHouse lounge is limited to the first 60 customers who arrive. Once aboard, each guest gets a complimentary cocktail.
Round-trip bus transfers connect Fort Lauderdale’s airport with PortMiami. Passengers still have to collect their own checked bags at the airport. After they check in with Virgin Voyages staff near baggage claim, their luggage will be delivered to their ship cabins.
On arrival at the cruise terminal, guests get priority boarding through the RockStar entrance. The package also includes a private welcome party, an in-cabin gift, and a $100 bar tab per cabin.
Booking required full payment, and the package is nonrefundable and nontransferable. You may change the name of the second guest, but if either person cancels, the promotional package no longer applies.
