A viral video that was posted to TikTok shows a semi-truck driving on a road within a tunnel before being brake-checked by a much smaller vehicle. You can quite literally see the other driver cut off the truck before pressing his brakes.
It isn’t very clear whether the semi-truck actually struck the other vehicle, but it does appear to have gotten very close. The driver of the other vehicle even makes it a point to get out and seemingly get upset with the semi-truck driver, as though it were their fault.
It’s a good thing we live in the age of dashcams. With how big that truck is, who knows what the police would have actually believed when it came down to it.
The video got people on the internet talking, with many condemning the other driver for even thinking about obstructing traffic in the way that they did. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
The Amazon Vest Wasn’t on Anyone’s Bingo Card

@derek_feather It’s long but then ending is the good part and huge shoutout to @Amazon for the same day delivery 🫡 maybe just a little less agressive next time #peterbilt #largecar #amazon #prime ♬ original sound – JEEJ
As shown in the video above, you can quite literally see the other driver come up from the lane and swerve right to get in front of the semi-truck. Instead of going forward as usual, the driver of the other car seemed upset by the truck’s proximity.
So, he felt that the best thing to do in this situation would be to slow down his car and brake check the much larger vehicle. It isn’t clear whether the truck hit the other car, but the two were stopped in the road for what felt like an eternity before the other driver finally opened up his door.
When he came out of the car, it was a little surprising to see him wearing an Amazon employee vest. Even the caption of the video thinks this part is funny, reading, “shoutout to @Amazon for the same day delivery 🫡 maybe just a little less aggressive next time.”
The Comments Were Just as Savage as You’d Expect
The video’s comment section was overwhelmingly in support of the truck driver, with many viewers arguing that intentionally brake-checking or blocking a semi should come with much harsher consequences. One of the most-liked comments read, “Should be felony obstruction of traffic. Six months in jail, license revoked for one year,” while another simply added, “They should lose their license for this.”
Others were less interested in the punishment and more confused by the driver’s decision. One commenter asked, “Why the hell would someone brake check a SEMI TRUCK,” a sentiment echoed by hundreds of others who pointed out that a fully loaded commercial truck simply can’t stop as quickly as a passenger car.
Some truck drivers also chimed in with their own experiences, with one explaining that hazmat training teaches drivers not to stop in certain situations because it could be an attempted hijacking, even joking, “If ya gotta ram ’em, ram ’em.” Meanwhile, others tried to lighten the mood, with one person quipping, “The truck driver’s getting paid by the hour, meanwhile the car is going to be late to work.”

Most truck drivers today DON’T GET PAID PER HOUR MOST R MAKING 60 CENTS PER MILE
