Sometimes a rare yet treasured find appears on eBay. This time, a luxury 1964 Chevrolet Corvette with only 1,111 miles on the odometer has, at the time of writing, received 56 bids, with the price reaching more than $51,000 in an eBay auction.

Lister mcqueen930 has listed the vehicle with no reserve, and with more than a day remaining, it’s anyone’s guess what it could sell for. It could be your lucky day!

With such low mileage for a car of this age, it’s certainly attracting attention from classic car enthusiasts and collectors alike. The highest bidder could potentially drive away with a piece of Chevrolet history.

The big question now is whether bidding will climb considerably before the auction finally comes to a close.

A Two-Owner History

Only two owners have held the keys to this 1964 Corvette Coupe 327. Its first owner, a man named Tom, purchased the car from Henderson Chevrolet in Las Vegas, Nevada, during its release year. It is believed to have spent much of its life stored in a garage, which could explain its remarkably low mileage.

A second owner, named Ed Watson, acquired the Corvette in 2009, although the purchase price remains undisclosed. He then took the opportunity to have it professionally restored by T Motors, reportedly investing more than $40,000 in the work.

Lo and behold, the car appears to be in remarkable condition, ready for its next chapter on the open road.

The Corvette Itself

As for its condition, this 1964 Corvette appears to have plenty going for it. Under the hood sits a 327 engine, paired with its matching-numbers original Powerglide automatic transmission.

According to the seller, it starts without hesitation, runs smoothly, drives well, and shifts perfectly. No oil or fluid leaks have been reported, which is encouraging for a six-decade-old vehicle.

It retains factory air conditioning that blows cold, alongside power steering and power brakes. The exterior features original fiberglass, complemented by a professional glass-out paint job.

The seller reports no cracks or checking in the paintwork or body, while the surrounding chrome remains in great condition. The headlights, weatherstripping, and seals are also said to work and fit as they should.

Inside, the Corvette remains in beautiful condition, with both the driver and passenger seats free from rips or cuts. There is also an upgraded vintage-style AM/FM radio featuring auxiliary connectivity and rear speakers, offering a little modern convenience without losing its classic character.

The frame is described as completely rust-free, and the seller claims the vehicle has an accident-free history. It also comes with a clean title, adding further reassurance for prospective buyers.

For anyone seriously considering placing a bid, the seller requires a $2,000 nonrefundable deposit, with payment accepted by certified cashier’s check, bank wire, or cash. The car itself is located in Winter Garden, Florida, just outside Orlando, along the shores of Lake Apopka.

As always, a gentle reminder that with a classic car purchase, interested bidders should review the listing carefully before committing.
