TikTok trends have become very big over the past few years. And while some popular trends are quite harmless (like those viral dance routines), others can turn quite dangerous (who remembers the Tide Pod challenge?).

Some of the pranks can even get people into legal trouble, like when Heston James found himself facing charges after filming a series of pranks for the platform. One TikToker recently found himself talking to the cops after taking part in a TikTok challenge.

The challenge itself was pretty harmless and involved pulling up next to a car, rolling the window down, and signaling for the driver in the next car over to roll theirs down as well. Only, when they roll their window down, the prankster rolls their window up. Seems harmless enough, right?

Well, one man didn’t find it too funny when TikToker @stone889 did it to him, and he even cut the young man off, causing him to stop traffic while he waited for the cops to come. The tense exchange led to a surprising outcome that even left the prankster shocked.

TikToker Gets Stopped After Pulling the Prank

The TikToker, who goes by the name Wayne on the platform, shared a video from the incident on Oct. 5. In the clip, he can be seen pulling the prank on an older gentleman in a red car who had stopped at a traffic light next to him.

Only after the prank was over, the older man wanted a word with Wayne and quickly maneuvered his car into the other lane so he couldn’t drive away. The man then got out, approached the car, and tried to muscle the window down when Wayne wouldn’t open it all the way.

There Was a Lot of Cursing and Tension

When the man put his fingers through the crack of the window to try and force it down, Wayne asked him to stop, prompting the man to tell him “no.”

“You’re just a big a–hole,” the man told Wayne before asking him if there was actually anything that he wanted.

“No, it’s just a window rolling up and down,” Wayne responded before saying “alright” as an attempt to end the conversation. But the man wasn’t having it and continued to hold onto Wayne’s window.

“What would happen if I were to just come over here and punch you in the nose right now,” the man asked Wayne.

“That would suck,” Wayne answered.

A Nearby Cop Car Pulled Over to See What Was Happening

The cops eventually got involved, with the man saying he wanted them to know that Wayne pranked him and videoed him without his permission, but the cop wasn’t having it. Instead of taking the older man’s side about the video prank, he ended up yelling at him for blocking traffic instead.

The officer went on to admonish the man, essentially telling him that the only person breaking the rules was him since he was blocking traffic.

Hopefully, everyone learned a valuable lesson in the end, including the prankster. While a harmless joke may seem funny at the time, you never know how people will respond when they feel like they’ve been wronged.
