We all love a bit of dashcam footage. It seems to provide some of the most entertaining content and viewing on the internet, as people get involved in all sorts of situations. Such as this one that befell a driver in Florida who came across a Dodge Challenger.
The footage was uploaded by user Silent_Ad5275 onto the r/dashcams SubReddit on Reddit. In the video, we see the user driving along a road in Florida when a Dodge Challenger muscle car suddenly pulls out in front of them as it leaves somewhere.
Any of us would be annoyed to suddenly have a car do that to us. And this driver was no exception. They took to the SuBReddit to voice their displeasure, claiming that they “hate Florida” in the caption for the video. Yet it was more than just a simple bad pullout.
The dashcam driver said they were flipped off by the Dodge muscle car driver, and then they decided to stop in the middle of the road to block him from continuing. The comments section was full of people who were also not happy about driving in Florida, so maybe this isn’t an isolated issue.

The video starts quite normally, with the dashcam driver simply heading down the road at their own pace. It is as he approaches a business that the Dodge Challenger then appears. Our dashcam driver is already quite close to him, so it would seem logical to expect the Dodge to simply stop and wait, and move out into the road when it is safe to do so.
But that isn’t what the driver of this muscle car decided to do. Instead, he simply kept going, seemingly without stopping, before joining the main road. There is no audio in the clip, but we can imagine a horn blaring, possibly a few expletives, and the sound of the driver stomping on the brakes. The closing speed was quite quick, so it is a very good thing the dashcam driver was paying attention to the road ahead of him.
It then got a little crazier. Looking at the driver’s side of the muscle car, we can see a ‘peace’ sign being flipped off from inside the car. We don’t think this was done in a friendly way either, and it was almost sarcastic when the driver flipped off the Reddit user. Having that done to you is annoying; however, the muscle car’s driver wasn’t done yet.
The Driver Then Slammed on the Brakes
Instead of simply driving off and letting it go, the muscle car driver slammed on his brakes. He then just sat there, holding up the dashboard camera for a few seconds before deciding to drive off. He could have just pulled away and let it go, yet he did that while clearly being in the wrong. Unsurprisingly, people who commented on the video were not impressed with the Dodge driver’s actions either.
“I have driven in 49 of the 50 states, and Florida is by far the worst. There is no question,” said one, who was also critical of Florida. “It’s always funny when these [expletive] are suddenly no longer in a hurry,” said another. “It’s wild how brake checking became a big thing AFTER dashcams started showing up everywhere,” remarked another user.
Quite clearly, nobody thought the Dodge driver had behaved correctly in the video. The pull-out alone was enough to make this an interesting dashcam video. The icing on the cake was the V-sign and the unnecessary brake checking.
