A Pennsylvania man accused of repeatedly stalking a co-worker, entering their home, and sending graphic messages detailing his intentions to assault them sexually has been captured. Deputies with the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit tracked Taylor Foster down earlier this week after charges were filed against him.
According to a criminal complaint filed by the City of Latrobe Police, Foster is accused of inappropriately grabbing the co-worker on two separate occasions before the situation eventually followed the victim home. Several weeks later, the victim was preparing to leave for work when they found Foster standing inside their garage.
Police say Foster then backed the victim against a wall before eventually leaving through a side door. Two days later, the victim told investigators Foster returned to the residence as they were once again preparing to leave for work, but this time they managed to close the door before he could get inside.
Investigators also learned about a series of Facebook messages the victim said Foster had been sending since April. The sheriff’s office described those messages as extremely sexually graphic, violent, and threatening, including messages in which Foster is accused of describing previous entries into the victim’s home and expressing an intention to rape them.
Deputies Track Foster to a Red Roof Inn
Once charges were filed, the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit began searching for Foster. Deputies eventually located him at a Red Roof Inn, where the sheriff’s office says he was apprehended without incident.
After his arrest, deputies took Foster to the Westmoreland County Prison. The sheriff’s office praised its Fugitive Unit for locating Foster, describing him in its announcement as a “dangerous criminal,” though the accusations against him will ultimately need to be proven in court.
The case paints a particularly disturbing picture because police say the encounters progressed from unwanted physical contact at work to Foster appearing at the victim’s home multiple times. The Facebook messages described by authorities also appear to have provided investigators with a written record of some of the conduct and threats the victim had accused Foster of making.

Commenters responding to the sheriff’s office were largely relieved to hear that Foster had been taken into custody, with several focusing their attention on the deputies who found him. “Great job guys!
