A semi-truck carrying about 40,000 pounds of beer was stolen in Montclair, California. The load included more than 50,000 cans, and Pabst Blue Ribbon wants it back.
The truck was last seen Aug. 17 and was supposed to arrive in San Diego at 10:30 a.m. However, the truck never showed up for delivery.
Pabst Blue Ribbon has now asked whoever took the truck to return it. The company started an 18-day-and-44-minute countdown and said it would ask no questions if the truck was returned before time ran out.
ABC7 said that Pabst also plans to offer a reward for information that helps solve the theft. As of Aug. 28, the truck and its cargo were still missing.

Although the shipment has been described as 40,000 pounds of Pabst Blue Ribbon, it also included another brand. The truck was carrying around 1,406 cases of PBR and 196 cases of Old Milwaukee non-alcoholic beer.
That comes to 1,602 cases in total. Pabst said the shipment equaled more than 50,000 cans of beer.
Pabst Gave the Thief an Unusual Deadline
Pabst announced the countdown in an Instagram post on Aug. 21. The company said whoever took the truck had exactly 18 days and 44 minutes to return it without being questioned.
The company also said it would offer a reward before the deadline, but it did not announce how much that reward would be. Pabst has not explained why it chose 18 days and 44 minutes.
A later update said the beer was getting warmer and the trail was getting colder. Pabst asked anyone who saw the truck to take a photo and message the company.
Pabst Says This Is Not a Publicity Stunt
The timing may seem a little suspicious because Pabst Light announced a separate semi-truck giveaway on Aug. 11. Less than one week later, the truck carrying the beer went missing.
However, Pabst said the theft is real and that it is working with the Montclair Police Department to recover the truck with the police report listed under case number 26-3562. A Pabst spokesperson told ABC7 that the company appreciates everyone who has shared possible sightings.
Montclair Police had not announced an arrest or the recovery of the truck.
