Just because you don’t like someone or their car doesn’t mean you have the right to damage it. This is especially so in a day and age when just about everyone has a camera that can potentially be pointed at you.
One Subaru owner felt the wrath of his neighbor after discovering the vehicle had been keyed on the doors and trunk. However, the suspect must not have realized that a lens was staring at him.
What’s even crazier is that the driver didn’t just have the incident on camera; he was able to use it to ensure the suspect would never do that again.
There’s more to life than being angry at your neighbor, and sometimes, it’s not worth being escorted away from your home by police while in handcuffs.
I Doubt This Road Rager Will Do That Again
Please give this video a moment to load.
@tatianajdoyle Replying to @cali_wolffe FOR EVERYONE WHO ASKED WHAT WE DID TO ANTOGONIZE HIM, HERE IS THE REST OF THE ENCOUNTERðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚ #part2 #wrx #roadrage #funny #dashcam ♬ last sip – Malia B.
The TikTok video shows the driver parking his Subaru in what looks to be an apartment complex. Behind him, a black Jeep comes in rather quickly and seems to park somewhere in the vicinity.
Once the Subaru driver gets out, the Jeep driver asks, “You got a new toy?” In response, the Subaru driver asks, “You the black Jeep?” However, he doesn’t get a response.
The driver definitely knows what’s up, as he smiles directly into his dash cam’s lens and walks off.
Almost immediately, the driver of the black Jeep walks up to the side of the Subaru and looks to be walking around it. However, the text on the video itself explains a completely different story.
When the Subaru owner came out and saw the damage, he took matters into his own hands. There isn’t any footage of what happened after this, but there is some of the Jeep’s driver walking away in handcuffs.
That Was Definitely A Good Investment
The original poster also shared what led up to the initial encounter. It seems that the Jeep had some road rage that he couldn’t resolve, and decided to take it out on the Subaru driver.
It’s a good thing that there were cameras at all to capture the whole ordeal. I can only imagine how hard it would be to prove to your insurance what happened without them.
Additional information about the suspect, including his name or the charges he is facing, was not made available.
Comments Say One Thing Made All the Difference
I’d like to think this driver won’t do that again. Road rage just isn’t the answer, sometimes.
Commenters overwhelmingly seemed to think the driver trying to merge hadn’t done anything wrong. One person argued that nobody had been cut off at all and said the driver simply sped up enough to merge safely, while another couldn’t understand why someone would deliberately speed up to prevent another car from zipper merging.
There was at least a little disagreement over the merge itself. One commenter pointed out that the two vehicles appeared to be driving beside each other and questioned whether the other driver could even see the turn signal, although they still described what allegedly happened afterward as “a disgrace” and were very happy a dash cam captured everything.
Others were considerably more concerned about how far someone might take a relatively minor disagreement on the road. “People can be so spiteful,” one person wrote, while another warned that “people are unhinged” and encouraged the creator to be careful if the other driver knows roughly where she lives.
