I’ve seen some pretty wild videos, but the ones I have seen recently are concerning; this is one of the weirdest. It involves Deputy Frank Sloup from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office discussing an arrest that occurred during a traffic stop in a woman’s driveway.
Of course, there is a legitimate reason why the cops arrested her. She had to get to her driveway somehow and, considering her responses to their questions, likely has no idea how.
There isn’t a whole lot of information available about the arrest itself, though Sloup’s job is to comment on the behaviors of the suspects and actions of the cops involved. And I’ll admit that the suspect was acting pretty weird.
According to Sloup, the woman didn’t really make things any easier for herself as she made some of her opinions known in parts of the video we don’t get to see. Regardless, it seems as though this woman really did deserve to be detained.

The video starts strong with a woman wearing some sort of hoodie sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle while speaking with police officers. The officer who is wearing the body camera can be heard saying, “You are being arrested.”
To this, the woman responds with, “In my own driveway.” The officer replies back with, “Yes ma’am, yes ma’am.”
Even Sloup confirms what the officer is saying.
In a conversation that happened before the camera started rolling, an off-camera officer asks the woman if she remembers telling her that she had driven here from somewhere. The confused look on her face pretty much confirms that she didn’t.
The woman is immediately asked to step out of the vehicle at this point, and the female officer who is present takes a moment to do a body check on her to make sure she didn’t have anything on her person.
Commenters Debate Sloup’s Texas Remarks More Than the Arrest
Sloup then comments on a few things that the woman had said when the cameras weren’t rolling. He says, “So, she says she’s from Texas, but she has moved to Illinois. I don’t know why anyone would do that.”
To expand on this, he says, “Texas is a great state, it has a great governor, all sorts of great senators and congressmen. They have a shoreline of saltwater where you can catch saltwater fish, they have planes, hunting… It’s a great state.”
This drove a few people directly to the comments, with one person writing, “Texas is far from a great state in many ways.” Similarly, another person wrote, “Lost me with the Texas praise.”
Regardless, the video is definitely a reminder to ensure that you either call someone or grab a rideshare before thinking about driving anywhere while potentially under the influence.
