I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: there is never a good reason to drink and drive, especially if you plan to do so with your own child in the vehicle. Self-proclaimed dating expert Amy Duvall was found by police going 45 mph in a 25 MPH zone.
Of course, things only got worse after she displayed symptoms of possibly being tipsy. Considering the situation, the officer asked if Duvall could step out of the car and perform a few tests to determine if it was safe for her to drive.
The incident initially happened on July 6, 2026, in front of the University of Arkansas, and did end up resulting in her arrest. However, in doing some research, this wouldn’t be the only run-in with the law she’d have that month.
Just weeks later, she was found to be intoxicated in public. At least she wasn’t behind the wheel this time around.
Field Sobriety Tests and an Open White Claw Led to Her Arrest
Give the video below just a moment to load completely.
The video is taken from the point of view of an officer’s dashcam and was reposted to The Facts Dude’s Facebook page. It shows the officer who is recording following Amy Duvall’s vehicle through a parking lot and having her pull over for a traffic stop.
After being informed that she had been going nearly 20 miles over the speed limit, she was also asked if she had any drinks that day since it was the Fourth of July. She did admit to having one drink, a margarita, but her body language seemed to imply otherwise.
After completing a few field sobriety tests, it was determined that she was not fit to drive and was officially arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor, refusal to submit to a chemical test, speeding, and DWI.
What’s even wilder is that when officers searched her car, she had an open can of White Claw inside.
Just 15 Days Later, Police Arrested Her Again
Quite literally 15 days later, Amy Duvall was arrested again. Fortunately, the charges were not as serious as the first one, but still had to do with being intoxicated.
She was arrested for public intoxication, and according to a report by Weather and News Around The 4 States on Facebook, she wasn’t with her kids this time.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Duvall is the Founder of Social Club, a subscription-based social club in Charleston, South Carolina, including over 1,000 high-profile members.
Commenters Split Between Jokes and Questions About the Traffic Stop
Commenters were a little all over the place, with some poking fun at her with comments like “Looks innocent to me” and “I got her bail, I can fix her.”
However, some leaned towards curiosity, such as, “Now I’ve not been pulled over and asked to take this test, but I don’t think it would take that many cops for the test and arrest of a woman not resisting and being cooperative. Thinking a couple texts were put out while he was running her info. Lol”
The entire situation is a testament to what police officers have to deal with every day. It is also a reminder of what the consequences can be of drinking and driving.
