A property influencer was involved in a terrifying crash that left his red Ferrari SF90 split in half. Images of the wreck have gone viral on social media, highlighting the sheer violence of the impact.

Photos from the crash in Australia show the rear half of the Ferrari lying several meters away from the front, illustrating just how severe the collision was.

Anyone seeing the wreckage would likely assume the driver suffered life-threatening injuries or did not survive.

However, the influencer later shared an update on Instagram, reassuring his followers that he was okay. He also thanked Ferrari for building a car that he believes saved his life.

According to a report by Australian media outlet 7 News, Gold Coast property developer Sam Gordon crashed his Ferrari SF90 into a tree on Rio Vista Blvd in Mermaid Waters, Gold Coast, about 9:15 a.m. local time on Sunday.

The car is worth over A$1 million and is capable of reaching speeds of up to 211 mph. It is not known at what speed Gordon hit the tree, with the impact causing the cabin to separate from the rear section.

Surprisingly, paramedics confirmed that nobody involved in the accident needed treatment, thanks to the SF90’s rigid carbon-fiber passenger cell and the crumple zones at the front and rear that saved Gordon from serious injuries.

Queensland Police Service confirmed that the sole occupant managed to escape the crash and was assessed for non-life-threatening injuries on the scene, according to News.com.au.

It has not been revealed whether Gordon has been charged. The Queensland Police Service advised that investigations into the crash are ongoing.

Driver Thanks Ferrari for Making a Safe Car

After the crash, Gordon posted a video of himself on Instagram, revealing that he was okay. He also gave credit to Ferrari for building a car that protected him. He said:

“I know you might have seen everything all over the news and post everything at the moment around the car accident that I was in this morning.

“I just wanted to do a quick shout-out to say thank you to everyone that’s reached out … I’ll get back to you all when I can.

“But just want to let everyone know I’m all good, I’m all sweet.

“Massive shout-out to Ferrari for building a crazy car that protects the driver first in an accident.”

Gordon first unveiled his Ferrari SF90 on Instagram a year ago, removing the cover at a dealership for the first time and calling it his dream car.
