Some people enjoy a nice country walk on the weekend, others like to try out a new restaurant, and some get their jollies by cycling around cities completely naked. This, understandably, doesn’t sit particularly well with the more nude-averse among the general public, and in protest, one LA local has taken a rather violent stand against the public show of nudity.
I’ve seen a naked bike ride or two in my time, having lived in liberal cities that allow such things, and I can tell you it’s nothing to get excited about. The naked human body isn’t at its visual prime while sweating over the handlebars of a push bike. Once the initial fascination passes, continuing to watch becomes a bit… fleshy.
However, as much as it may put off anyone enjoying their lunch, there’s no call for what one man has gone viral for at the intersection of Temple Street and North Alameda Street in Downtown LA. Rather than avert his eyes, he performed drive-bys on the naked cyclists with a BB gun.
The man, described as wearing a black hoodie and sporting face tattoos, hopped on an electric scooter and accosted the naked cyclists as they stood in a parking lot, waiting to get underway. After popping off a couple of BBs, he zipped off, abandoning his weapon.

Thankfully, due to the gun only being able to shoot gas-powered pellets, there were no serious injuries to the unprotected and exposed bodies in the big naked crowd. The two people he hit with the BB gun were treated for their injuries on site, having only suffered minor lacerations.
The man responsible, who had fled the scene, was later picked up by police near a federal building. The weapon believed to be used in the attack was also found nearby.
Avert Your Eyes
The naked human body clearly had a profound effect on this LA resident. Rather than just avoid the planned and advertised naked bike ride, this man made an effort to get out there and assault the bare naked bike fans. It would have been a simple solution to simply stay in another part of the huge city.
It makes you wonder: maybe he wanted to catch an eyeful of the naked parade but was just too scared to admit it. Either way, now he’ll be spending a bit of time in prison, where I am sure he will have plenty of opportunities to see crowds of naked men in the showers.
