What was originally meant to be a quick test run of a new 360 camera ended up turning into a hit-and-run being captured. What’s even more interesting is what happened to the two cars that collided on what appears to be a relatively empty residential road.

The camera initially starts out facing forward, but is then turned around to show a white Toyota Tacoma coming up behind the vehicle. What you need to pay attention to isn’t this truck, but the white Chevy Suburban right behind it.

You can see that the Suburban gets so close to the truck that it actually hits the back of it, sending debris across the road. The front of the SUV looks clearly crushed, with the right headlight having gone out and the hood being crumpled a bit.

Despite what looked to be a pretty gnarly accident, the truck didn’t stop for a moment. In fact, the driver just kept on going, seemingly ignoring the fact that another car had hit them from behind.

Shortly after the Suburban hits the back of the truck, you can see it veer off the road a bit and into oncoming traffic. Fortunately, no one was heading the opposite direction as the driver of the SUV slowly drove into an ABC Party parking lot.

While it’s likely that the driver stopped just to assess the damage, it’s clear that the accident didn’t deter them much, especially considering that the truck driver kept on going. According to the footage, it doesn’t seem as though authorities were called to investigate exactly what had happened.

It wasn’t just the SUV driver who was displaying odd behavior. The truck driver continued their slow trot forward and past the camera, as though nothing had happened. Because 360 cameras are typically pretty large and would have been visible to the truck driver, that was a pretty bold move.

What Happened Next?

Additional information was not provided, and a police report concerning the incident could not be identified. However, as the truck drove past the camera, you could see that there was almost no damage done to it.

While it hasn’t been confirmed, it is likely that the drivers of both vehicles didn’t want to have police involved after the incident, for some reason, and decided to go their own separate ways to deal with the damage later. The SUV driver didn’t seem as though they were going to go after the Tacoma at any point.

A different driver who was behind both vehicles looks as though they stopped as a result of witnessing the odd accident. This vehicle stayed behind for the entire incident, and almost appears as though they were turning away to avoid it entirely.

Reactions to 360 Camera Capturing Strange Accident

Commenters under the TikTok video found the entire situation hilarious, with many using memes and other images to express that. One person wrote, “the Chevy suburban pulling into the parking lot like,” and paired it with an image of Peter Griffin from Family Guy after a fight.

A different commenter also noted the lack of damage to the truck, writing, “No damage to the Tacoma 🤣.” There were a few replies from people who believe that the incident happened because the drivers didn’t have insurance, writing, “Tacoma doesn’t have insurance.”

Local authorities did not release the driver’s name, exact location, or additional identifying information. When agencies provide limited details, we supplement reporting with local news coverage, public records, and direct outreach whenever possible. In this case, no additional information was available at the time of publication.
