A motorcycle rider was thrown high into the air after his Kawasaki Ninja H2 crashed into a roadside ditch. The video looks so extreme that some viewers questioned whether it was real.

The footage spread across social media in late October 2026. It shows the rider moving along a two-lane road before trying to get past another motorcycle. Within seconds, the ride turns into a violent crash.

What happened next drew thousands of reactions. Some viewers were shocked by how far the rider flew, while others blamed him for putting himself and nearby road users in danger.

But the rider, who posts as @cpt_zaid, has defended his actions. He says he was trying to save two lives when he made the move that sent him off the road. A follow-up video showing his injuries has only added to the debate.

The helmet-camera footage shows the rider approaching another motorcycle as a car travels in the opposite direction. He moves toward the right side of the road, where the other motorcycle is also heading.

Instead of passing safely, he leaves the pavement and reaches a ditch. The bike hits the uneven ground, throwing him forward and high into the air before he falls back down.

The height of the fall caught viewers off guard. One person joked, “Yup, that’s me flying out of my motorcycle. You’re probably wondering how I got here.”

His Side Of It

In his original post, the rider wrote, “I AM NOT HERE TO PROVE ANYTHING I JUST WANT TO SHOW THE SITUATION I WAS IN, I JUST TRIED TO SAVE TWO LIVES BY RISKING MINE.”

He later shared a longer explanation through his Instagram account. The October 25 post shows him with visible injuries and a supported arm.

According to a translation circulated online, the rider said he faced a choice between hitting the other motorcyclist and moving farther right. He chose to move right but did not know a ditch was ahead. He also said the motorcycle caught fire after the crash.

Those are the rider’s explanations, not independently confirmed findings about what caused the wreck.

Not Buying It

Many viewers rejected his defense, citing his high speed. One commenter wrote, “Passing on the right was a decision.” Another told him, “You shouldn’t have a driver’s license.”

Others questioned whether the footage was computer-generated. One viewer pointed to the height of the rider’s flight and the movement of nearby vehicles as reasons for doubting it.

The rider’s injury video provides more context than the original clip alone. Still, it does not establish his speed or whether the crash could have been avoided.

In the follow-up, the rider also defended his handling of the powerful H2 and discussed its braking performance. His explanation drew further criticism from viewers who felt he was refusing to accept responsibility.

Despite the violent crash, he survived and was able to speak about what happened. His October 25 follow-up shows him recovering from injuries while continuing to defend the decision that sent him off the road.
