Delivery drivers go through a lot during a given day. From unpleasant weather conditions to traffic jams, these folks can deal with some pretty harsh working conditions. However, not every incident that they experience is a bad one.
In fact, one Amazon delivery driver is sharing one of the challenges he encounters with a “day in the life” video. In the short clip, TikToker @903omarion filmed himself as he made a delivery along his route.
Except it wasn’t just any delivery. Instead, it required some special attention so that he could ensure that porch pirates wouldn’t make off with the goods. He even managed to capture an attempted theft on video, filming himself as he chased down the package.
It was all in good fun, though. The driver could be heard giggling while running after the four-legged bandit that was giving him such a hard time. Now, the video has gone viral, with more than 155,700 people liking the clip.

The cute video began with the driver pulling up to the home where he was making the delivery, using a body-worn camera to document his day. However, just seconds into the clip, the driver had to get out of his car and walk back to his last drop-off because an overexcited dog had stolen the package from the porch.
He then followed the dog under the home’s deck to retrieve the package, saying the dog was “gonna get my a– in trouble.”
The Package Was Successfully Retrieved
After getting the package back, the driver found a safe place to hide it from the dog so the driver wouldn’t have to come back a third time. Then he raced the dog to his truck, giggling as the excited pup tried to beat him to the finish line.
“I couldn’t be a driver. The dog would be in the truck with me making deliveries,” one person joked.
“I deliver for Walmart. I had a pot belly pig at a delivery. This pig started digging through the bags. She grabbed the pack of bacon and took off with it. I was yelling, ‘Stop, that could be family,'” another person wrote.
Delivery Theft Is Common
While this Amazon driver was obviously dealing with an unusual situation with this pup, as many as 104 million packages are stolen each year, according to the 2025 SafeWise Package Theft Report.
The company looked at the data surrounding package theft, determining that porch pirates have stolen an estimated $15 billion from consumers. Not only that, but the report says that retailers are also feeling the pain, with porch pirates costing businesses more than $22 billion.
With the holiday shopping season about to kick off, consumers should start thinking about how they can ensure their deliveries stay safe from those two-legged bandits who are seeking to steal their stuff. After all, not all delivery drivers will be able to double back like this TikToker to make sure that the items they deliver make it to their intended recipient.
