A Lamborghini was destroyed by fire after its driver crashed into a gas pump at a Tennessee convenience store, with bystanders reportedly pulling the driver from the car before flames consumed it.
The crash happened at the Twice Daily along Highway 41A near Maxey Road in Cheatham County.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol told WKRN that the driver apparently experienced a medical episode, lost control of the Lamborghini, and struck one of the station’s gas pumps.
No other vehicles were involved.
Out in Time
Bystanders were able to get the driver out of the Lamborghini before the fire fully engulfed the car, according to WKRN.
Video from the scene showed the aftermath at the gas station, with the exotic car heavily burned.
The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department responded alongside THP. The department describes itself as a volunteer fire service covering the Pleasant View area and surrounding communities.
THP did not immediately release the driver’s condition or additional information about the reported medical episode.

The crash left the Lamborghini destroyed, but the driver was alive after being pulled from the vehicle.
WKRN’s television report described the driver as “thankful to be alive,” although no specific injuries or medical condition were released.
