Locking the doors wasn’t enough to keep one unwanted visitor outside a Texas home when police say she found a considerably smaller way back inside. Angel Samantha Reynosa, 23, is accused of crawling through a pet door armed with a large pipe wrench just minutes after the homeowner had already removed her from the residence.
Del Rio Police officers responded to the 100 block of North Frank Street at approximately 9:27 a.m. on September 18 for a report involving an unwanted woman. The homeowner told officers he had been inside when he heard his front door slam shut and discovered Reynosa had entered without permission.
Police say Reynosa was known to the homeowner and became involved in a verbal dispute with him and another woman inside the residence. The homeowner eventually removed Reynosa and secured the doors in an attempt to keep her from getting back inside.
That apparently wasn’t enough to end the encounter, because the homeowner told police Reynosa returned a few minutes later with a large pipe wrench. This time, police say she crawled through a pet door to get back into the residence.

Once back inside, Reynosa is accused of throwing the pipe wrench in the direction of the second woman. Police say the wrench struck the woman on the right side of her torso, causing pain and discomfort.
The homeowner managed to remove Reynosa from the residence for a second time before contacting police for assistance. The department’s account does not indicate that Reynosa managed to get inside for a third time.
After investigating the incident, officers arrested Reynosa on a charge of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony. The charge remains an accusation, and the available police account does not provide additional information about what led to the initial dispute.
Reynosa Transferred After Del Rio Police Process Her
Police transported Reynosa to the Del Rio Police Department following her arrest and processed her on the burglary charge. She was subsequently released into the custody of the GEO Correctional Facility pending the magistration process, according to the department.

That unsuccessful search does not establish Reynosa’s current custody status or provide additional information about why she was transferred to the facility. Del Rio Police’s announcement similarly does not provide a bond amount, court date, or further details concerning what happened following the transfer.
