Two brothers returned to their home in Edmond, Oklahoma, after attending a UFC event in Oklahoma City on Saturday, July 18, 2026. And while driving back home, they found an unknown person sleeping in the bed of the pickup truck. It appears that he entered the pickup truck at Paycom Center, which hosted UFC Fight Night: Du Plessis vs. Usman, and stayed asleep for the entire drive north. Edmond is roughly 15 miles from the arena, according to MMA Mania.

The brothers are Andrew and Lance Dixon, and a home security camera at the house recorded the moment they found him. Andrew’s fiancée, Jaden Huck, posted the footage to social media, where it went viral. In the video, Lance gets out of the truck first, spots the man sitting up in the bed and putting his hat back on, and calls out to his brother that there is someone back there. Both brothers start laughing once they check on him.

Andrew asked the man why he hadn’t knocked on the window during the drive, KOCO reported. The man told him he was fine. Andrew then opened the tailgate so he could climb out, and Lance told him he was all the way in Edmond. The man thanked them.

Huck said the brothers gave the man water and a lawn chair, and that he called a friend to come pick him up. She confirmed in a follow-up post that he got home safely. Commenters on the video pointed to the jersey he was wearing and his accent and concluded he was South African, though that hasn’t been confirmed. His name has not been released.

Who Are Andrew and Lance Dixon?

Both brothers wrestled at the University of Oklahoma, according to BroBible. Andrew competed for the Sooners from 2014 to 2018, and Lance appears to have been on the team from 2014 to 2017. A third brother, Joel, wrestled at Oklahoma during the 2014-15 season before moving on to the University of Central Oklahoma.

Andrew was a four-year letterwinner at Edmond North High School before signing with Oklahoma. He won two Oklahoma Class 6A state titles and was a two-time Fargo All-American. He still follows and competes in combat sports, which is what put the brothers at the UFC card that night.

What Happened at UFC Fight Night in Oklahoma City?

The card ran Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City and featured 12 fights, according to Tapology. South Africa’s Dricus du Plessis beat Kamaru Usman in the main event. The card also included Chase Hooper’s win over Mitch Ramirez, which Hooper later described as a career-saving result after two straight losses.

Paycom Center sits in downtown Oklahoma City, and Edmond is a suburb directly north of it. The drive between the two takes about half an hour. It is still unknown how the man got into the truck bed, or whether the friends he came with realized he was missing.
