What was likely just a normal day for an employee at a trampoline park turned into an incredibly sweet moment between him and a local with a disability. A video captured the moment he leapt out of his Jeep and helped a man in a wheelchair cross the road.

What really makes the moment sweet is the fact that the person helping the other is wearing a Spider-Man suit. You can quite literally see the red and blue reflecting off the suit as he walks by.

The incident was captured on a street intersection’s security camera on July 21 at about 12:20 pm and posted to Facebook by the Jonesboro Police Department. It’s since gathered nearly 23,000 likes and over 500 comments.

In fact, one of the comments belonged to someone who was able to identify the man in the Spider-Man suit as his co-worker, offering to explain why he was dressed that way.

The short video above was posted to KATV News because the original post was unable to be embedded. It shows a busy street during what appears to be a red light, with the white crosswalk sign lit for people walking on the sidewalk to cross. It seemed that there was only one person who needed to cross the road, and it was a man in a wheelchair.

Because this man didn’t have anyone to push him, he could be seen using his feet to scoot himself across very slowly. However, not long after, a man in a Spider-Man suit in a red Jeep jumped out and grabbed onto the chair’s handles.

He can then be seen pushing the man across the street safely before the light has a chance to change color. In fact, he even seems to make it back to his car just in time for the light to turn green so that he can keep going on his way.

Commenters Say It Was the Most Wholesome Thing They’ve Seen All Day

The comments filled up with viewers who were surprised to see the masked hero in the street. However, one person recognized him as their employee, writing, “I am the General Manager of Ultimate Air Trampoline Park and this gentleman is an employee for us. We had superhero day at Ultimate Air for our toddlers, and he had just left. This is not AI or anything planned. He is just a great person and saw somebody struggling who needed help. He just happened to be in a superhero suit.”

Other comments were a little more lighthearted, with a different user writing, “Would have been even better if he’d struck a Spidey pose on the way back to his vehicle!”

One comment in particular belonged to someone who claims to have been present during the interaction, saying, “Jonesboro Police Department, how about the officer that got out in this heat and checked on the man after this? I saw that…. Of course I was driving and didn’t see which direction this gentleman went after maneuvering this intersection, but he did seem to be struggling. Hope he was ok. Good job to JPD too! 🙌”

The video is a touching account of how a simple helping hand has the power to move thousands of people.
