Interesting cars driving around where you’d least expect them to be isn’t exactly new, especially if they’re vehicles that were featured in popular media. Most people would recognize something like a Batmobile or even the Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 from Initial D.

This driver took the route with a slightly deeper cut, driving KITT from Knight Rider. Standing for Knight Industries Two Thousand, the vehicle was fitted with the same buttons and screens as featured in the film.

What’s even crazier is that the founder of Horn Blasters is the one behind the wheel. You read that right: Matthew Heller found a KITT in great condition and seems to be using it as his daily driver.

His most recent TikTok videos show the vehicle’s interior and even the horn, which looks like it won’t be replaced any time soon.

This Knight Rider Replica Looks Like It Drove Off the TV Set

Please give the following video a moment to load.

@mattfromhornblasters.com Is this the coolest looking interior of all time? #kitt #knightrider #kitt2000 #classic #tech ♬ original sound – Matthew Heller

The short video features the interior of the car, showing off the various buttons and monitors that Michael Knight drove in the original television series. He can be heard saying, “There’s a slight death wobble and no air conditioning, but we are heading to the Armature Works car show.

In other videos, the dashboard can be seen a little bit clearer, and it appears that while most of the lights and buttons are there just for show, some do have a purpose. He even presses a button to the left of the steering wheel to activate the horn.

Other details about the interior were not revealed, though it definitely looks awesome glowing in dark areas or at night.

Commenters Couldn’t Believe Someone Actually Drives KITT Every Day

Most commenters were far more interested in the 1982 Pontiac Trans Am than whatever was happening in the video. Thousands immediately recognized it as the Knight Rider car, with the top comment simply asking, “DUDE!!! IS THAT NIGHT RIDER!?”

Quite a few viewers admitted they had no idea what they were looking at, but still thought it was incredibly cool. Comments like “Tf is that car, cool af tho,” “What in the spaceship do you have?” and “Is bro in a plane?” filled the replies, while the creator humorously responded to one question about the spaceship-like interior with a simple, “Yes.”

Even so, the overwhelming reaction was one of admiration, with most viewers fascinated by the unique interior and eager to identify the unmistakable Knight Rider replica.
