Videos showing a silver SUV repeatedly ramming vehicles at a busy Houston intersection are blowing up online after multiple bystanders captured the chaos from different angles. The incident has quickly turned into one of those viral clips where every new camera angle somehow makes the situation look even more confusing.
The footage shows what appears to be a silver Chevy or GMC SUV crashing into multiple vehicles near Harwin and Hillcroft, with drivers scattering, people screaming, and phones immediately coming out to record. Several clips also show the SUV continuing to move through traffic long after most people would expect the situation to stop.
One angle shows the SUV backing into a marked police SUV at fairly high speed. Another appears to show a white Kia with flashing blue lights nearby, leading viewers to debate whether it belonged to law enforcement, private security, or another emergency-related vehicle.
Most of the conversation online is not even centered around news coverage itself. People are mainly trying to piece together what happened by comparing TikTok clips, eyewitness reactions, and the growing number of different angles spreading across social media.
Local outlet ABC13 Houston later reported that an actual Houston Police Department cruiser was struck during the incident. Authorities reportedly arrested 33-year-old Robert Lee Scott and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault of a public servant.

The Video Feels Like Crazy Taxi
What makes the footage so unsettling is how the impacts keep happening long after most people would expect the situation to end. At several points, the clips stop feeling like a normal intersection crash and start looking more like somebody bouncing off traffic in a driving video game.
Vehicles scatter in different directions while people nearby yell and try to move out of the way. In some angles, bystanders can be seen standing surprisingly close to the crashes while still recording on their phones.
Another clip shows the SUV reversing directly into a police vehicle, hard enough to visibly jolt it backward on impact. That repeated contact is a major reason many commenters immediately began describing the SUV itself as a weapon rather than treating the situation as a typical crash.
The Mood Online Shifted Pretty Quickly
At first, many of the comments focused on the absurdity of seeing so many different camera angles appear online almost immediately after the incident. One TikTok caption even described the situation as “GTA level 5 Southwest activities in full effect.”
The tone shifted once viewers started discussing possible injuries and the realization that multiple innocent drivers were caught in the middle of the chaos. One commenter said they hoped there were no children inside any of the vehicles during the crash sequence.
The TikTok creator later replied, claiming a little girl was allegedly removed from one of the vehicles with an injured arm, though authorities do not appear to have publicly confirmed that detail.
Right now, there still does not appear to be a publicly released police report fully explaining what allegedly triggered the repeated collisions in the middle of one of Houston’s busiest intersections.
