The LEGO and Formula 1 worlds have collaborated together once more with the introduction of their latest highly detailed and exciting collector’s set, Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari F2004.
The Danish brand has already released a series of Formula 1 cars spanning recent machines to revolutionary classics, such as Ayrton Senna’s 1988 title-winning McLaren MP4/4 and Nigel Mansell’s famous 1992 championship-contending Williams FW14B.
With sets on pre-order for $89.99 until being shipped off on March 1, 2026, LEGO and Formula 1 enthusiasts can continue expanding their collections with the introduction of Schumacher’s most dominant prancing horse from the 2004 season.
All the Finer Details – Brick by Brick
The Ferrari faithful, the bright red Tifosi, can relive the team’s most dominant period in history with this new LEGO set. The 2004 season saw 15 wins from 18 races for the Maranello-based outfit, with Schumacher winning 13 on his way to clinching his seventh and final F1 title.
The new set includes a model of the car itself, consisting of 735 pieces and measuring 2.5 inches tall, 5 inches wide, and 12.5 inches long.

With a display stand to showcase the car, it also features additional details designed to excite the Tifosi. A Schumacher minifigure, display podium, driver’s helmet, and trophy are on display too.
LEGO states the minor but important details with “working steering, grooved slick tires, and a detailed V10 engine, plus a display stand with vehicle details and stats.” ”.
A Tribute to a Formula 1 Legend
Schumacher revolutionized the sport in his own unique way, leading Ferrari to a sixth consecutive Constructors’ title and a fifth consecutive Drivers’ title, becoming the first and only driver to date to win that many in a row.

The German inevitably retired in 2006 before reversing his decision in 2010 to race for Stuttgart-based manufacturer Mercedes. Though his comeback was largely uneventful, Schumacher transcended motorsport by setting numerous records at the time, including pole positions, podiums, race victories, and, of course, championships, showing just how influential he was in building an unparalleled dynasty at the pinnacle of four-wheeled motorsport
Displayed on the podium is a quote from Schumacher that reflects his racing philosophy. “I’ve always believed that you should never, ever give up and you should always keep fighting even when there’s only the slightest chance.”
Engineering Perfection: Inside Schumacher’s Dominant F2004
Influential figures such as Rory Byrne, James Allison, Ross Brawn, and Jean Todt all worked together to produce a race car so mesmeric and dominant that no team could come close.
All it needed was the best driver, Schumacher, and the F2004 completely dominated the scene that year. Based on the F2002, which saw the North Rhine-Westphalia native finish on the podium in every race that season, Ferrari designed a car that set a record lap time of 55.999 seconds at its Maranello test track, a time that remains unbeaten to this day.

Every area of the car was revised to make a step forward, including aerodynamics, a new chassis shape, and refinements to the power steering system to improve driver feel. Thanks to the Bridgestone tires, Ferrari also made redesigns to reduce weight and optimize structural efficiency.
The results saw the hard work pay off, with Schumacher winning 12 of the first 13 races before securing a career-equaling 13th victory of the season and claiming 148 points from a possible 180. 12 pole positions, 14 fastest laps, and a combined 29 podiums from 36 races were historic numbers for that era.
It’s only fitting that LEGO would introduce this masterpiece.
