An Uber Eats driver has posted on TikTok recounting the experience of the strangest delivery order he has had. TikTok user @ging_bbu posted a video of him very much crashing out when he realized what it was that he would have to deliver.
With Uber Eats, you would probably expect, and quite rightly, to deliver just food, or perhaps groceries, to someone’s address. So you can imagine the shock that this driver had when he realized he would have to deliver a huge TV to someone’s house.
It is a perplexing situation to be in or to explain. But incredibly, this particular Uber Eats driver is not alone in having experienced this. In fact, several fellow delivery drivers, from Uber Eats and other services, explained they had similar problems and random things to deliver instead of someone’s lunch or evening meal.
It turns out this stems from a deal that Uber Eats did earlier this year with Best Buy. If you want certain electronics and appliances delivered via Uber Eats, then you are in luck, as that is now possible thanks to what seems like one of the strangest deals ever made.

It wasn’t so much that this Uber Eats driver had to deliver a TV that caused the problem. It was the fact that this TV was massive, around 75 inches in size, meaning very few vehicles would be able to accommodate it. Luckily, TikTok user @ging_bbu had a van he could transport the large TV in.
“Who Uber Eats a 75-inch TV?” he jokingly yelled to the camera. “What if I was driving like a Camry or something? Who’s gonna get that?” added the delivery driver, totally bewildered by his request. He was able to pick it up and get it into the van, but he seemingly wasn’t that happy about the situation. “I’m tired, mane,” he said in the caption, and the video itself is quite comical.
The TikToker shows us the back of his van, and it is full. There is practically no space for anything, and he was right to question what anyone else would do if they had a car any smaller. A quick glance at the comments showed that this isn’t the only driver to have experienced this. A few colleagues stated they had also had very odd Uber Eats deliveries requested.

Strangely, a giant 75-inch TV isn’t the weirdest thing to go into an Uber Eats car. “I drove a Mini Cooper and had to Uber Eats four tires to a dealership, and they didn’t tip,” said one driver. Not tipping after that kind of delivery in a Mini certainly seems insulting. Tires in a car make sense, but what one driver said they had certainly didn’t.
A second driver said, “I was literally driving my little Mazda for Uber Eats, and someone ordered a door.” A door on Uber Eats? We’ve heard it all. There were some joke responses to the video, as you would expect. “I usually eat a 35” TV. I couldn’t imagine 75,” said one. Why Can You Get a TV Delivered With Uber Eats?
In 2025, Uber Eats and Best Buy struck a deal that meant some electronics and appliances could be delivered by those who work for the food delivery service. However, it seems some Uber Eats locations have been doing this for longer, so it isn’t an entirely new practice. For those who don’t have a vehicle that is quite big enough, we can only imagine how frustrating an experience it is.
